Hello! We had a great time! We didn't know to reserve a cart but went down Sunday evening and managed to get one on the spot and keep it for 4 nights. Check in went smoothly, we even extended our stay one night and hit a few snags with that due to the CM not checking the date! But after dh got that straightened out all was well. We did have a problem with our access cards getting demagnitized our last day but took them into the Check in/check out office and they gave us new ones.
We stayed in the 2000 loop, if you were there this past week and saw two crazy twins riding almost identical bikes, one with a pink helmit and one with a purple helmit they were mine. We found it funny that they put all the tenters and pop-ups on the same loop instead of mixing them up with the RV users cause we all had to use the showers and toilets and they Rv'ers have thier own so if you mix them up then there isn't so much waiting. Anyway, the facilities were nice, not as nice as they are in other parts of the park but they were alright.
We hit snag with the buses at times. They would switch an orange to purple after you got on it or as it was pulling up it would switch to purple. Confusing. We found that the Trails End was good but extremely expensive. We ate there once and only once. My mom paid $18 for herself alone. There were 5 of us so you can only imagine what we paid. I crockpotted it one day and we came back from Magic Kingdom, ate and went back for fireworks and more fun. We split a lot of meals while at the park. My son and I split many sandwiches and my daughters split all meals. The brats at Epcot are nasty, stay away from those in the Germany. Yuck!
Kidcot was fun at Epcot. The girls had fun collecting stamps and things from the different countries.
We only had one bad moment at FW, we were on our way back from the Marina Tuesday night after watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom (again). We were coming up that road in front of Meadows Trading post and a bus was coming up behind us really fast. My mom was driving our cart and I was in the back with the girls. I told her it was coming up fast and she barely had a chance to pull over to let it go by. She was partially still on the road and I had to holler at her to pull all the way off cause that bus was not giving us any room. I was so scared! It just barely missed us and and we followed it through it's last two stops, at the last one before heading to the outpost my dh got off the cart and asked her if she realized she almost hit us. She denied it and never apologized. I called the front desk to complain about her and gave them the bus number and the time it happened. Told them that my dh went to talk to her and she denied that she did it and never once apologized. We had two 6 yr old on the back besides me, we could have been gravely injured if she had hit us and she didn't care.
Other then that it was a Dream Come True for us. We all always wanted to go to WDW and we did, finally.
