For "Tiggeriffic Thurs", I got some girl's shorts and tshirts for 7.99 each, a few adult 50% off adult long sleeved tshirts, and three of the princess nightdowns for 12.99. I also got some 75% off easter stuff. Aside from the sales, because I spent 10. or more, I got two free magic towels, (2) 25 off 50 donald dollars (spent over 100.) and got a tinkerbell deluxe costome for 5 because I spent over 25. I also got my DC discount! I know these aren't as good as some past sales, but it's definetly better than retail!

My question is with regard to the princess nightgowns. They are the light material, sleeveless, with the picture of the princess taking up the entire nightgown. They are trimmed in satin and called "enchanted nightshirts". Would my DD1 look silly wearing this as a light dress with sandles? To me they resemble a dress, just the material is thin and light, but not satiny. They are also on sale at DS.com. What do you think?

I also thought the night dresses looked like daytime clothes! I say "Go for it!"

At 1 I wouldn't worry about her looking silly. When my DD was 4 she wore her Minnie Mouse ballerina dress costume to nursery school every other day for 6 months straight. Luckily we only had school Mon.Wed.Fri. so I had a day to wash in between. She also insisted on wearing her Halloween wedding dress to Sunday School for about 3 months because she saw a bride at church!

My DD4 has the Tinkerbell one and she insists that it is a dress and wants to wear it everywhere!!! I will let her within reason, I think a 1 year old would look cute in them! Go for it!

My DD 4 got one at WDW for being brave and trying the water slide (gotta love bribery!). She insisted on wearing it to Epcot and we have some pretty funny pix of her with the Living Statue. I saw other kids wearing them so I say go for it.

People have been buying them for pool coverups, too. I think they look so cute as a dress, personally.

Personally I thought they were pool coverups and whent to buy them as such since I thought they were perfect for summer camp when the girls get out of the pool. However when I tool them to the register they were not included in last weeks' buy two swim items get one free so I found out they were sleepwear. I wouldn't hesitate letting a young child wear it as a dress. IT is adorable.

LOL When my daughter was 1, I would have just let her wear her nightclothes to the park anyway if they were comfy and cute. If the thing looks even vaguely like a dress, you're ahead of the game already!:D
