Our annual passes expired so we decided to buy the passport plus tickets.
They were fabulous. We went on Soaring 3 times a day and we never had to wait for any ride. I was able to sneak on Indy too many times to count!!!
The crowds were thick, so the passes made the difference.
The best strategy seems to be to send out a runner for your family to get all the fastpasses you can right off the bat, that way when you go to the ride you can pick up another if you desire a second ride. You can get a second FP as soon as you enter the time period for the first FP on that particular ride.
Of note, we were never questioned if we gave them a FP that was later than the posted time.(as long as it was the same day!)
The over the top cool thing was that on the fourth day of the five day pass I turned the passes in for full credit towards our AP!!!! We saved our major purchases until I had my Premium AP in hand.
