We were at Disney march 17th-23rd.

Friday night - 50's Prime Time. It was pretty good. I had the pot roast and onion rings with s'mores dessert. My mom had the pot roast, onion rings with Dad's Sundae for dessert. I like mom's dessert better than the s'mores. Word to the wise, the Dad's Sundae is HUGE!!! Mom and I shared the desserts and we didn't finish either! The kids had soup, mac and cheese and build your own sundae. They loved them.

Saturday morning - breakfast at the Pop. Kids had mickey mouse waffles. They loved them.

Saturday at lunch - Pop. Can back to rest and eat. I had pizza, cupcake and drink. Pizza was good. Cupcake was good, very moist. Son had some kind of pasta with 1 meat ball with Cookie and drink. Must have been good he ate it all!!!

Saturday night - Liberty Tree Tavern Character meal. This was ok. I wasn't really thrilled with the meal. It was more like a couple of warmed up stuff from the frozen food section of the grocery store. The kids LOVED it. I think mainly because they had the FULL attention of the characters. That made the meal. I spent more time taking pictures than eating too.

Sunday morning - breakfast at pop.

Sunday lunch - wasn't hungry and supper was going to be early.

Sunday supper - Coral Reef. I had grilled mahi mahi and chocolate wave dessert. Son had steak. The mahi mahi was ok but I'm not that fond of grilled fish. I LOVED the chocolate wave. I think it was the best desert I had the whole time I was there! Son said that the steak was ok.

Monday breakfast - snacks from room.

Monday Lunch - Flame Tree BBQ. I had routessier(sp?) chicken, key lime pie with drink. Youngest Son had kids chicken wing meal with chocolate cake and drink. Oldest had pork bbq sandwich, chocolate cake and drink. All chicken was great! Loved the chocolate cake. I didn't like the key lime pie and older son didn't like the bbq sandwich. I don't know if that was because it came without bbq sauce (he did put it on after he got it).

Monday supper - Shutters at Olde Port Royale. I had chicken wings, steak and chocolate cake. All very good. Youngest son had pasta with meal balls, chicken wings and sand castle dessert (both sons had and didn't like it). The sand castle dessert was cute but not that tasty.

Tuesday morning - breakfast from snacks.

Tuesday lunch - Cosmic Ray's Starlight cafe. We had chicken strips with french fries and carrot cake. My youngest son and I shared this. It was very good. Cake cake as ok. Oldest son ate it.

Tuesday at supper - O'hana's. This was my favorite plan. Everyone got fried wontons, chicken wings, veggies, grilled steak, turkey, pork chops and pork sausage. I didn't get the sausauge but everything else was great! For dessert we had bread pudding. I wasn't fond of that either and they brought me some ice cream only (I asked for it). The kids loved it because they kept them busy playing the games and stuff. If I had one place to go to it would be this one!

Wednesday morning - snack in room.

Wednesday lunch - Pizza Planet. This was good. The kids absolutely loved it. We all had pepperoni pizza and was good.

Wednesday night - Le Cellier. I had Cheddar soup, steak and the chocolate cake. I didn't really like the soup but the boys loved it. Steak was great. Pretzel bread was great too. Didn't care for the other bread. Chocolate whiskey cake was great too.

If you have any questions let me know and I'll try and answer them.

Thanks for the reviews. We are planning to eat at Flame Tree BBQ, Ohana's, and LeCellier in May, and will probably try Cosmic Rays too for lunch.

Did you have the DP?

Thanks again!

Tegra89,

Thanks for posting! Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

Would you go back to Primetime? We haven't eaten at either Sci-fi or Primetime because the reviews all sound kind of mediocre food wise witht he highlight being the atmosphere.

We usually do lunch at the Studios at Pizza Planet, a place we love in a sentimental kind of way but avoid dinner at that park. What do you think?

Thanks,
penny

Yes, we had the dining plan. We didn't really have to spend any money for food with the dining plan. It was wonderful and without it we probably wouldn't have gotten to try so many different places. At least with this I didn't have to worry about how much stuff called because it was covered. I HIGHLY recommend the dining plan.

Honestly I would probably do something different next time. I liked the food at Primetime but I like to try different things too. The highlight was the atmosphere. I really enjoyed this time around because of the dining plan and the flexability of getting to go to places I normally won't because of the pricing. We did Pizza Planet because the kids still remember Toy Story and they were jazzed to eat there. I have done that everytime we have gone. If you don't eat at the parks, eat at the resorts. It gives you a chance to see what the other resorts look like.
