Just back from CSR!!!

Getting us excited about our upcoming stay this December!:cheer2: The time cannot go by fast enough...

Another thumbs up for CSR. We were on property from June 3 through June 8, staying in Building 6B. This is the upper end of the resort, but the walk wasn't that bad, and the go-cart limos were running, had we opted to use them.

We also found the Pepper Market to be first rate. Great choices for both breakfast and lunch. The punch card system was extremely easy to use, and the CM's were all to eager to help us maximize the dining plan. Honestly, a few of the meals at "the Pink Puppy" were on par with some of the TS meals. We did get the re-fill mugs which we used at the Pepper Market and at the bar right next to the Dig Site.

Bus transportation also a big plus, as at least a percentage of the guests were there for conventions, with all of the associated meetings that go with that sort of thing. Having stayed at CBR previously, I would say the two hotels are on par with one another. The CSR certainly had the advantage of the lighter transport to the parks.

In the end, if you are headed to CSR for a first visit... you're in for a treat. :thumbsup2

Welcome back! Thanks for sharing!!

:surfweb: It's fantastic to read all these favorable reviews of CSR. My sister and her family stayed there in December (their first Disney trip) and was awestruck by the decor and landscape. I'm thinking about staying at CSR for our October trip. We don't have our ressies yet because I'm patiently waiting for AP rates :rolleyes1 .

Coronado Springs Resort ... here we come!

We just returned today from our trip to WDW and loved the CSR.. We have stayed at CBR and WL before, but really enjoyed this resort... Our kids LOVED the pool with slide and we had no problem with Pepper Market either... The only thing that was confusing was "tipping", but since we got a terrrific food server all 3 times we ate there, we decided to leave a little extra each time... Although the size of the beds could be much better, we will definately stay there again... We were in Ranchos 7B and liked it... VERY close to 2 bus stops, so we had NO trouble getting on a bus when ever we needed to... We had early morning days 2 out of 4, and arrived in plenty of time.... I would recommend this resort to anyone... It was very nice!!!

Thanks for your review- we are going in September and it's really so exciting it's all we can talk about these days...

My DS is 4....did you DS do the slide at all? I'm wondering if mine will be intimidated by it and not enjoy the fun?

Thanks again :)

It can be but if they do it once, they usually don't want to stop.

Does the dining plan cover the tip at the Pepper Market? I'm not clear if counter service tips are included with the plan! Thanks

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring his ear plugs with us, since he just got tubes put in, so he couldn't do the slide... My husband and daughter just loved it... You won't be able to go down with him, but you can stay at the bottom, to catch him if needed... You don't go fast on the slide, unless you want to...

Hope that helps!!!

I loved your review! Thanks for posting. My dh and I are taking our first ever trip to WDW without the kids this coming October (22nd anniversary!) and we're going to stay at CSR. I'm very excited.

Great review! Thanks! I'm so excited now!

3 days until 12 nights at CSR!!!

We just returned from a 3 night stay from 5/27-6/2.
Buzz, you are sooooo right about Coronado Springs. We LOVED it. We stayed in Cabanas 8B and it was a short walk to the Dig Site and a VERY short walk to the bus stop. I hate that we never got a chance to walk to the other sections around the resort. I would love to say there would be a "next time" but we are a family of 5 and very soon we won't have the under 3yo option for the 5th member. That has to be my biggest complaint about value and moderate resorts....they just don't work for larger families. 2 rooms or a suite is just too expensive :sad2:

On to my original request. I am trying to do a scapbook for my 7yo who had major surgery this Monday. I did not take pictures of the entrance, Pepper Market, or bus stop. I did get photos of the Dig Site, lake, beach, etc. I know there are pics floating around but I did not want to use anyone's personal photos without permission. Would anyone mind granting me permission or sending me some pics...maybe by PM if you don't want to reply.

Thanks so much...naominpaul
Welcome back!! Glad you enjoyed your stay!!

Thanks for the reviews! Planning on staying at CSR next May!

How about the buses to DTD? I think I read somewhere that CSR doesn't offer bus service to DTD until like 4:00pm. . . Is that true? We usually go to DTD 2-3 times on our trips, this would be a real bummer if there is no bus service during the day. . .
