My Dh and I arrived at CSR around 12pm on 11/23. There was no line checking in and I was asked if I minded a room in the Ranchos section. The cast member told us the room was ready and while it was a 5-8 minute walk to the El Centro, was right next to the bus stop. Dh and I agreed to the room ( Ranchos 7B #7662) and found it was a handicap assessable room (but with a tub!.) The room had a huge bathroom and was in great shape. We both agreed that it was more important to be near a bus stop than El Centro. Each afternoon, Dh went to the gym (he said it was a decent gym) while I read in a hammock or laid by the pool. The Dig Site was busy but the quiet pools were empty. We would definitely stay here again. We never heard any noise, mousekeeping and transportation was good and the grounds were beautiful. The only negative was the Pepper Market. There was a line out the door every morning and we felt it was more expensive than the other hotels and had a confusing layout.
On 11/27, we moved to the Wilderness Lodge. When we checked in around 2, our room was ready #6143. The room had a wonderful courtyard view and was in good shape. When we checked in, we were told our luggage would arrive by 3pm. I called a little after 3pm and was told that our luggage did not arrive with the other CSR luggage. It took almost 2 hours to track down our luggage but Bell Services did a good job keeping us informed. We loved everything about the WL (except the transportation which was VERY slow) and is our favorite WDW hotel yet.
