I just checked out this morning from the Country Inn & Suites in Lake Buena Vista. They are located off S Apopka-Vineland Rd (535), a few blocks down from the CrossRoads area, next door to the Sheraton Safari.
This was my 2nd stay here (1st was about 4 yrs ago). I like the location...it's in a strip mall, behind a Sizzler Restaurant. In the strip mall you will find Tony Roma's Restaurant, Giordano's Restaurant, Manhattan Bagel, New York Chinese Restaurant, a Kinko's (where I stopped in many a time as they have internet access at $0.20 per minute), a cleaners, and a gift/souvenier shop. You can park your car at the hotel and walk around.
There is a complimentary shuttle to Disney, but didn't use it---it sounds like it's limited (time wise). There is a game room, as well as a gift shop in the lobby. Downside to the gift shop is that I only saw it open once while I was there, and not for long.
I rented a Whirlpool Suite---it had a king size bed, desk & chair, another comfy chair, tv (of course), microwave, coffee maker, fridge plus a nice sized whirlpool tub (2 people could fit in it together). There is another regular tub and shower in the bathroom.
Breakfast is included here---they had make your own waffles, toast, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and cereal (hot & cold). As long as they last there is also a jar of cookies at the front desk (2 days had chocolate chip, 1st day also had cinnamon raison, 2nd day had chocolate macadamia).
Please let me know if you have any ?s and I will do my best to answer them.
