Just back from CBR!

I am so glad to hear that you loved it!

We are staying at CBR in 3 weeks for our first ever disney trip. We were thinking about requesting Martinique. Should we request it now...or when we get there (it will be a Monday when we arrive).

(and a random question here that I haven't been able to find in my research...do you have to request a fridge for the moderate resorts, or do all rooms include one?)

All moderates SHOULD include a small fridge for no additional fee. If there isn't one in your room, for some reason or other, simply request one.

Have you ever gone solo to the WDW yet? I am thinking of going on my own in a few weeks but I am nervous :scared: to go by myself.
I love Disney and I am due for a trip since I haven't been since July 2005.
I can't get anyone to go with me so I am thinking of doing it solo.
Any ideas?

Nope, not yet, but I'm booked! :cool1: I had some reservations about going alone but not anymore!

My DS is going to be spending his spring break with his dad (for the first time EVER) so I had a week to myself. Usually, DS and I do Disney together. So, I looked into cruises, all-inclusives, etc., and then thought -- what the heck am I doing? I know Disney, I'm comfortable there, and I haven't been on RnRC, ToT or SM or gone to PI in over 7 years! It sounds a little selfish, but after the divorce I went back to University, worked fulltime, and all the other stuff that comes with being a single parent and since I finally will be graduating this spring, a little one-on-one time with the Mouse didn't seem so unreasonable.

The funniest thing is that WDW is the only place my DS says it's okay for me to go without him -- because, he says, he's been there so much already! :rotfl:

Glad to hear that you loved it. We'll be there in a few weeks!!!

CBR was the first Disney resort we ever stayed in and loved it. We were in Barbados and I don't remember the walk being too long to OPR, but then again we like to walk. I don't know where they are going to put us this time, but I'll be happy anywhere.

When we stayed at CB, we were in South Trinidad and it wasn't bad at all! The kids loved walking and seeing all the bunnies and lizards. It was a 10 min. walk tops. I just loved CB, I hope you have a great vacation!!
