We just got back yesterday from Cabo SanLucas, Mexico and it was wonderful!!! We did not exchange our DVC points, stayed on cash, but would not hesitate to exchange in the future. We had a HUGE 1 bedroom, 2 bath at Villa DelPalmar. The resort is very pretty and very well kept up. Not a single problem with housekeeping. The food was wonderful and the weather could not have been better. The location of the resort is just a short cab ride to downtown or a 20 minute walk or so. I think the cabs charge 2 bucks a person.

Any questions feel free to ask...

BTW, if I don't get back to you right away it is because we leave Thursday the 29th for Disney and won't get back until the 9th of May. WooHoo... in 24 hours I'll be there!:Pinkbounc

Your vacations sound wonderful! Having visited Texas in the summer though, I have to ask if you have any plans to get out of Texas then, as well?

Have a great time in WDW, we overlap with you. We're staying at BCV, are you?

Did you price out the exchange and decide cash was better?

If you have a moment- could you post a description of Cabo on the cruise boards. This is rummored to be a port of call on the "rummored" California cruise. How are the beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. ? Would it make a good cruise ship stop? Did you happen to see the port DCL would use? Thanks!

Yes, we are heading to Vero this summer, so I'm trading Hot for Hotter

We will be at the Poly for 3 nights, then we check into BCV for the rest of our time. Only 24 more hours!!!!

I know this is not on the cruise board but here it goes...

We saw several ships dock, or should I say, drop anchor. You have to tender (sp?) in quite a ways. They drop you off at the main marina. Of course the diamond stores have set up temporary stores of the dock. The beach is not a soft sand, more coarse. There is a wonderful place to eat called MiCasa. Excellent food. Lots and lots of shopping and you can get some pretty good deals too.

We went with a group and got a group rate of 149.00 a nite for the one bedroom.
