Just back from a week at BWV! Had a great time and took my friends and had 3 studios. We checked in at 4 pm and not an upgrade in sight, due to construction, and he said 97% occupancy, so no go. We were in rooms 4008,4006, and 3006. I was a little upset as I had called at 11 mos, and they could not get us ON THE SAME FLOOR!!, but not enough to dampen me.
Some observations:
We played golf at LBV golf and got a good look at SSR being built, looks like a nice place, to early to tell, but not to my liking, too far away from the "action", and am not a PIsland person.
Trash and towel was on the 3rd day, not the 4th, a little confusing, but oh well.
Rooms-my room had a front cover fall off were the trash goes, (the door on the cabinet), no towel rack on the back of the bathroom and the shower massage only had one setting, could not turn to other settings. My friends room had no air one day, but worked the rest of the time-go figure?!
All and all ok, but not the standard I am used to, after all I am paying dues!! FIX THIS STUFF!!
Went to 3 parks, sat around the pool, shopped and played 2 rounds of golf at LBV and eagle pines, GREAT GOLF AND what service! They take your bags, comp taxi, etc, it was wonderful!

GUIDE- My friends took the DVC tour and recieved 100 dollars each for their time! WOW, I did not get that! Anyway at the end of the presentation, my guide THREW the bags of info on to his desk, and one even slid off the desk and fell on the floor!! He was PO'ed that my friends wanted to think about it, and my friend said" man that is no way to sell a timeshare", and he said nothing. I don't think that is in the DVC timeshare sales book, so I thought it was rude!!
So, they left, with money in hand!

Any questions, e mail me!! or pm me!

All in all a good vacation, and nice relaxing time!

We were in 4010 and 4008 at the end of May (it's a two bedroom lockoff). On our trash & towel day, the maid accidentally shut the cabinet door too hard and the inset part fell in. We just pushed it back together, but did call maintenance to let them know. They said they'd make sure it got fixed. We did notice the hook on the bathroom door, but only on the last night (DH and I moved to the studio portion - 4008 - after the rest of the family left), then we forgot to tell them about it. I don't remember the shower thing, but then I didn't try and move it.

It does disturb me a bit that they didn't fix the cabinet yet as we checked out on June 1st.
