We got back today from a week at the BW. The weather was cool for Florida and swimming, but great for touring the parks. Our just turned 6 year old twins did a great job of walking (NO STROLLERS YEH!!!!). We hit all the parks, saw all the night shows, etc..

If anyone has questions, let me know!

Hi! We are staying in a one-bedroom BWV in Dec (thanks to a great DVCer) and we are so excited! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Can you tell me something about your villa? Size? Location? DD will be 4 yo by then (geesh, I can't believe that!) and this will be the first time in a WDW hotel that isn't the WL, or "The Lincoln Log Hotel" as she calls it. Any info would be great!

TIA!

The room size is very similiar to the VWL except the decorating is different. The BW rooms are lighter. Our room overlooked the pool but we couldn't see much because of the trees. We have always enjoyed the BW area. I keep asking my kids to stay at the VWL but they won't leave the BW or BC. It is great to be able to walk or boat to MGM & EPCOT.

Not sure if you've stayed in a 1bdrm before, but you'll have a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and a pull-out in the LR.

The pool area is quite nice, with the slide and "kiddie" area. You can get life jackets for free at the community center.

Had enough snow? I'm so sick of this white stuff and the cold! I'm counting the days to our March trip to BWV.
