Hi,
We just got back from BWV. We stayed in a standard studio, we had room 4099 and our friends had room 4097. They overlooked the valet parking area. I really enjoyed the room. We could see the higher fireworks from Illuminations everynight. Our son is 16 months and slept in the pack & play. The greatest thing about the studios at BWV (also the WLV & BCV) is the location of the sink. The little "nook" area was perfect for the pack & play. Our son couldn't see us and we could keep the tv on and didn't disturb him. Our friends were staying in a studio at OKW and couldn't say the same. They called member services to get a different room because their son would be up for hours because he could see them or the entire family would be in bed by 8pm. Something to think about if you have an infant or toddler and are planning to stay in a studio.
I was able to tour the open house at BCVs on 6/24. Nice facility. Very much like BWVs (room layouts and such.) The theme is definitely Cape May NJ. If you have ever been to Cape May, look at the pictures in the rooms and the common areas, you will notice some of the bed & breakfasts. I got 2 BCV pins for doing the tour.
I thought the character caravan was great at the lobby. We had different characters each time. On Mon, we had the Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit and I forget who else. On Wed, we had Mr. Smee, Jessie, Captain Hook. On Fri, we had Pluto, Goofy, Gideon and Farfellow. I may have confused some of the characters on the days, but these were the ones.
If you are going soon, check the weather. It rained everyday!!!!
Any questions or comments, will be glad to help.
I plan to post more on the restaurant and theme park forums, just thought that I'd keep it to DVC stuff.
Oh, yeah, I thought that the bus system ran pretty good. Didn't have to wait long at all. We had a PS for CRT on Sat, 6/22, and the CMs said that the first bus started at 7:30am. We went down a few minutes before 7:30 and the bus arrived right at 7:30.
Was a little concerned about how the CMs would be after reading everything on the boards and I thought that everyone was great, absolutely no complaints. All CMs were helpful and quick to respond.
