Just got back from a great trip to BWV from 6/11/05 thru 6/18/05. We Left Allentown, pa at 7:00 am on 6/10/05. Made good time. Checked into the la Quinta Inn off of exit 94 on route 95 in savannah, ga. Paid 62.00 for the night (internet rate) good clean room.

Left hotel at 8:00am on Saturday and arrived at BWV at 3:30pm. Would have gotten there quicker but made couple of stops and very bad accedent on I-4 had to take detour.

Received welcome home from gate attendent at BWV and procedded to valae. Received another welcome home from front desk and checked in. We got room 4119, one bedroom looking out to front of hotel. Had wounderful sun rise every day and excellent view of epcot fireworks every night. More to come. PM or email with any questions. Lot more to say tomorrow.

Day two: Hot, hot, hot. The weather report was right hot, hot, hot. DW, DS and I headed over too EPCOT, got fast pass for sorin. Let me tell you this is one great ride. Very smooth. Little bit of information, I can ride any ride in the world except simulators, I have ridden Mission space one time and it made me green for 3 hours. But with that being said, this ride is smooth, one great experience. EPCOT seemed to be in great shape. Brought in pbj and cappri sun for lunch, great idea. Really satisfied us. had dinner in america, great burger, and chicken fingers.

Day 3: Magic Kingdom. All i can say is wow. Never looked better. Again very hot, hot, hot. Castle looked great. Very clean and shinny. Did all the usuall rides. DS love mickeys phillharmagic. Again brought in PBJ's. had dinner at tony's great as always. One dissapointment. All DW wanted was the new gold mickey ears. None to be found, not one on the entire disney property. Every CM gave us a different story. Most agreed on late June or early July till new supply comes in. Very dissapointing. Somebody at disney dropped the ball. God knows how much money they lost last week alone in sales, not to mention people like my DW going away dissapointed.

More to come::::::

can't wait to hear boy! how close to the swimming pool were you? we're counting down to our visit in 12 days!

We stayed in 4119 last Feb. Good room. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Good start. We will be driving from Connecticut in Aug and staying in Savannah. How long did it take you to get to Georgia?

We were there at the same time as you were. We live in NC and left on the same day as you did. We were going to stop in Savannah even was going to stay at the same hotel, but we decided to go a little future down the road. We stayed in Brunswick. We left around 9:00 and made it to POFQ by 12:30. In our room by 1:00.

You are correct it was HOT!!!!

We left Allentown, pa at 8:00am. Made various stops including long lunch/brunch in SC at a Crackerbarell. We pulled into hotel La Qunita at
8:10pm. Not a bad drive at all. We took 78 to 81, to 77 then picked up 95 in Charlotte. It takes a little bit longer but the drive thru VA and NC is fantastic.

Day 4: MGM studios. The park looked great. It was packed for a Wed I thought. Started out in shops, looking for elusive gold ears. None to be found. Then with DW and DS in tow headed over too TOT and ROR. Got fast pass for ROR and did stand by for TOT. For as crowded as the park was the Stand by for TOT was only 25min. got on and was very pleased. After riding we all went over too playhouse disney, got there just in time only waited on line for 5min and walked right in. If you have not done this yet with your young child what are you waiting for. This was absolutly fabulous. My DS 3 1/2 danced and sang the whole 25min. He loved it, as did every other child.

We were going to do fantasmik dinner pkg, decided at last minute to cxl and save the 65.00 and we split chicken fingers and pizza over by TOT.

More to come.........

Thank you for the motion sick non simulator inclined thumbs up on Soarin... I will be happy to ride it when we go... i too can not ride simulators!!
