Just back from BWV 5/28 - 6/3 (pictures)

Thanks for the photos. I love the picture of you and your sister. I hope my DDs will have special memories there together too. And thanks for reminding me that I really like the 5th floor. We are arriving on the 11th and because we are expecting a lot of visitors I was going to try to get a 1st floor so we could use the patio as overflow, but I don't think I want to give up the view from the 5th.

Thanks so much for the pictures! :) We're staying at BWV for the first time in 11 days and really didn't know what to expect except for the room layout. Does it get really noisy there? SSR was so quiet. My kids wanted to stay there just for that (creepy) pool slide.

The Boardwalk gets a little busy at night, but I honestly don't know until how late because we were usually in bed pretty early. When we sat out on the balcony we could hear the people down below and the horn on the boat. I'm not really sure how it was with the door closed because most of the time in our room we kept the door open because we loved going outside! The only time it was closed was when we were sleeping, and I never heard anything while I was trying to sleep (but then again I sleep pretty well considering I was the only one that was never woken up by the obnoxious girls down the hall).

Did you take any of the inside of the studio?

Unfortunately that's something I always forget to do! I always take a lot of pictures of the resort but I forget to take them inside. We had no problem fitting 4 girls into the room. We kept the couch out as a bed the whole time and we all always had room to move around.

If it was the same girls they were staying in a large villa overlooking the boardwalk and I did see one adult male come out of that room, but that was it.I think they were pretty much alone most of the time.My 14 year old son did get a kick out of them though..lol he wanted to keep getting ice

I never saw any adults but my sister said that 2 of the girls looked like they were probably just over 18. But every time we saw the girls, the 15-16 year olds were always off on their own. I can't believe they stole some of the signs outside peoples doors. I also saw them knocking on some doors. You're lucky you didn't get stuck on a boat with them. We unfortunately got stuck with them for at least 10 minutes at the boat station at MGM. And I swear that boat ride home was the longest we ever had! I just felt worse for the people who were actually inside the boat with them (we purposely sat on the outside to avoid them).

Hi Shuisfan584! It was nice meeting the 4 of you in the airport. Glad you had a good trip - now you will have to try the Disney Cruise. I can't wait for my next trip. October just seems so far away.

Loved the pics. We will be staying at the BWV in 50 days! I can't wait. It's one of our favorite resorts.

:cool1:  :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Nice pictures! I wish I had you two staying next to me when I was at WDW. Two of the prettiest ladies I've ever seen! Hubba Hubba!

wow--just returned from a 2 bedroom preferred view stay at the BWV and faced the dolphin--what was your room number please--your view was fab!

You're so lucky that you get to go again in October! I really want to go in October sometime. My boyfriend's birthday is on Halloween so it's his favorite holiday. Because of that I'd really love to go for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I think he'd really like it.

Anyways, I'm sure I mentioned this at the airport, that I promised my friend I would go on a cruise with her next year if she came to Disney with me this year. Well anyways she definitely had a good time and said she would probably go again sometime...so maybe she'll decide to do a Disney cruise!

Right before we left for vacation I found out that you could either request standard, preferred or boardwalk view. I really thought that Boardwalk view was considered preferred so I figured we wouldn't be getting a Boardwalk view. When we checked in I was worried about getting a good pool view, so imagine my surprise when I realized we were almost directly on the Boardwalk!! We were in room 5055. It wasn't directly on the Boardwalk as you can see, but we were about 3 rooms in from where the building curves into the lobby.

Great photos, thanks for sharing! We're looking forward to our first stay at BWV next month. We only have one night at BW and then I have to move to the Dolphin for a conference.

Bumping you back to the top, so more can see your great pictures.

We were staying at the Inn when you were there. Those girls were awful. They were out on the balcony at midnight singing & screaming on the 28th :furious:

Thanks for sharing your pics, they are great.

Small world, as we checked in to room 5051 on May 28th and were there until June 3rd. We loved our room! Had never had a Boardwalk view before but being able to sit out on the balcony each night and wake up to seeing Epcot each morning was great. My two little guys loved seeing some of the fireworks too!

My sister and I were in Studio 5055 the first week of May this year. We loved that room and the wonderful view from the balcony!!! Great pictures by the way!

Wow how weird! 2 boardmembers in room 5055 and 2 in room 5051 all in May. I bet I probably bumped into some of you people and wouldn't even know it.

And jjohnson I'm sorry you had to experience these girls as well. I'm lucky I sleep very well because I never heard them when I was sleeping, but everyone else in my room did. I thought they were pretty annoying, but they must have been pretty bad if everyone else on the board knows who I'm talking about!

Yes a little too much. I truly felt like I was on the Boardwalk in New Jersey ;)
