As we had planned, we boondocked @ Boardwalk, no plans to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The trip was spectacular. We never had a problem with security. The new ride was ok, not worth the extra trip to Disney for it, but a great trip anyway! There were a lot of concerns about my dogs poop. My question is to you: Do you not clean up after your dogs? News Flash!!!! We do. Here is how it works: My friends wife made reservations at Boardwalk, she registered herself as an adult, and her husband as a child. The second adult was in my name, and my fiance was listed as a child. She arrived many hours before we did and obtained the room. She said the 2nd guest would be showing up via motorhome, and would need special parking. We had the parking pass, and were put into a special lot at BW. Plus we registered and got charging access. We were registered guests at the hotel with a parking pass. This is how it worked for the 3 nights that we were there. And, I cleaned my dog poop. We talked to disney vice many times during the stay, and actually gave one a tour of the coach and he decided he would rather stay in the coach than in the villa, we were never given a 2nd look during the entire trip.Since this trip went so well, if we can't get into FW, we will book a value room and stay in the parking lot, use the shower and water so we are not carrying all the water weight.

:stir: :surfweb: :rolleyes1 and where in the heck is my popcorn eating smilie? Hold on tight folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride! :listen:

:rotfl2: I hope this is a joke. If it's not, it sure should be. That has got to be the funniest thing I have heard on the boards in a long time.

You know if it's not a joke it's remarkable the lengths that people will go not to pay for something. I wonder did you try to get a walk in rate at FW..very often there are sites available for the same day.
It is creative the way the reservation worked. Personally I'd be a nervous wreck that I'd be getting caught that I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself but that's just me. I'm just surprised they didn't have a problem with the rig running in the parking lot. Oh well..interesting at the very least.

Just thought of something..I know when I call Disney..because we've been there before they have the names in our party and their ages..how would that work if you and your boyfriend..or your friend and her husband want to go back..and they have you guys on file as kids?...That's just ...wierd..sorry..but I guess it works for you. Sounds like you had a good time.

Well, I for one was with you boondocking in the parking lot, didn't really see anything wrong with that, not putting your dog in a kennel, I was right with you there too, but telling lies to get a free ride is just crappy, what did you do just make up ages of your pretend children ? I know WDW asked for birthdates. Lets face it there are millions of ways to rip off any company , and if that's what you feel like you need to do to get by, more power to you, brag like you just won the lottery, there is just something so sad about that. No company or person can force anyone to have morals, that's a personal choice, I'm sure you still slept like a baby.

I just found the other thread on this subject. I guess it isn't a joke. The fact that they can afford an expensive motorcoach and still pull a stunt like this just proves that you can't by class or intelligence. This is just the most moronic, imbecilic scheme I have heard in a long time. If your so wealthy, the least you could have done was register as an adult and pay the extra adult fee. I still don't know if I buy this story completely.

Must be something about people who have lots of money, like the guy who just ripped of my DH and the contractor he works for. Guy is loaded, doesn't want to pay, so suddenly the work is "no good." Nice. Guess if you want to cheat the system that's your business, but bragging about it is just cheesy. :sad2:

I'd just like to add on the "boondocking" issue..most campers who really boondock...hate when this term is applied to camping in a parking lot. It is my impression that it originated when one was camping "out in the boondocks"..where there were no hook ups.. water/electric/sewer. Not because one chooses to stay in a parking lot whether it's Walmart( I have no problems with that, as long as Walmart doesn't mind) or the hotel parking lot in Disney.

I also don't know if I really believe the entire story. I don't know of many "campers" who with owning a million dollar rig would want to do this. There is so much more to the camping experience than the rig itself. I also can't imagine going to such lengths regarding the room reservations. As a previous poster said..you'd think they'd at least pay the extra adult fee, if money wasn't an issue.
Sounds to me like somebody might be using daddy's rig..and wouldn't he be proud. Just doesn't seem to me to be someone who is a grown up..at least not in the emotional sense.
Okay..I'll step off the soap box now. To each his own, whatta ya gonna do?

I tried to get a res. At FW every day for 3 week and even tried on the way up no luck. I work like everyone else do not brag. I hardly say the type of motorcoach I have. I wanted to stay a Disney with my friend and because of our dog we can’t.

You are kidding, right? All we heard about in the October - December timeframe was about your new Newell. Starting in early October when you discussed your $7,500 per month cost for your new Newell. Oh, I believe it was around Christmas time when we heard about your constantly calling the company that was making your new Newell.

I don't think there is a "regular" on this board that doesn't know about your Newell or your "pool hopping" adventures or even about your walking (strollering) your dog outside the pet loop. The pool hopping post on the resort board caused quite a stir, to put it mildly. Didn't they finally Lock that thread??

You always seems to try to stretch the rules whenever you can. Let's see - what was everyone saying about your posts/stories. :stir: :stir: :stir:

I've read and re-read your post many times, and the only "illegal" thing I can see here is registering 2 of the adults as children, so as not to pay the extra adult charges. I'm sure Disney rules do not allow dog walking around the resort parking lots, but that's sort of minor, especially if you pick up after them.

Since registering adults as children is against Disney rules, and since the DIS can not and will not condone "cheating" Disney in any way, I am going to lock this thread, before it gets any uglier.

Have a good day everyone!
