Just back from Belfast

Got back at 12.30am (poor Mark had to get up again at 5am for work!)

Had a great time, went to our friends' Summer Ball, lovely! an excuse to dress up

Belfast was certainly interesting ...the hailstones werent though!

We had lots of sun too, and on Saturday sat in alovely pub garden in Hillsborough having a drink in the sun, after visiting a Country market and a couple of local Art galleries

We were quite restrained at the Ball, managed to be home by 2am..not very drunk at all even though we were swigging champagne

BBQ yesterday when we all eventually got up and then flew home late last night.

The NI people are very friendly (well, those we met anyway)

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend Mandy .... I've never been to Northern (or Southern) Ireland but everyone I know who's been say it's lovely.

Oooo sounds like a fabarooney time you had...... poor Mark having to get up so early for work.

I went to a friend's wedding in Northern Ireland a few years ago near some of the Lochs just outside Eniskillen I think and it was so beautiful and I had a whale of the time, they sure know how to party.
