This was our first time home and we had a great time. We arrived at the BC at 5:05 on Feb. 14 and were on our way to our villa by 5:15. We got a studio this time and it was very clean, no complaints there. DS's both age 11 slept on the sofa bed and in their words said it "was very comfy". We were in room 439 and it was very quiet, only a villa to one side of us. We got daily housekeeping and my only complaints with that were that later in the week (must have been a different maid) we weren't getting enough washcloths, but they brought them right away when I called.

One thing I was curious about was that there wasn't a hotel directory in the room, where you could look up all the services etc. offered at the Beach Club. Is this because it was the villas? Or was it missing? I meant to ask at the front desk, but never really had the time. It didn't really make a difference to our vacation, I just usually like looking at that stuff. We did have a room service menu.

I'd be glad to answer any questions if anyone has any.

All of that information should have been included in the "newsletter" in your Welcome Home packet that you received at check-in. It should have listed the ammenities and phone #'s for the Y/BC/BCVs and you should have also received info on the Member Perks that are available.

We did get the newsletter, but what it listed was only the perks of being a DVC member, the folder also had a small folded portable perks guide, but then I knew all of these before going. It didn't include any phone #'s or a list of the amenities for the resort. It didn't even have a map of the resort, I got that while passing the bell services desk one day. Like I said I should have called and asked, but we were constantly on the go.

Every room I've stayed in with DVC had the standard hotel/resort services guide, just like you'd see at any hotel. I think they must have misplaced yours.

Studios only connect to 1-bedroom - this is a lock off - or a dedicated isn't connect to anything.

You can get a lock-off studio next to a dedicated - or 2 dedicated together - that is the best that DVC can offer. more than likely you will be on the same floor - rather than next door.

Lexxiefern, we primarily had a view of the woods, the Beach Club Resort was what we would see looking directly across. Adjacent to the right was another wall of BCV, we were in a corner (does this make sense?) If you looked all the way to the left you could see some of the tops of the Epcot buildings, we couldn't really see Illuminations, but you could see some of the rockets being shot off and you could hear the whole thing. We did have a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table.
