Just back from BCV

Well it was our first trip home and I must say the BCV were totally awsome. We left on the 11th and the first fure days were packed, I heard that Florida schools were on Fall break. Also the first days were really hot and humid. But by Wednesday the crowds were much lighter and the weather was perfect. The pool was great, only complaint was by the little kids area there were acorn trees and my 16month ds was trying to eat them. But other than that my other ds 4 and 9 were having a great time. My mother was with us but unfortunately she had to leave on Wednesday, her brother died. I felt so bad for her. But she had a great time while she was with us. I was going to go with her but my Aunt and her insited I stay. I really felt guilty.

Mission: Space was totally great. My ds and dh went on a couple of times. Also Test Track and Star Tours my four year old went on he loved them. Also he got to see Buzz Lightyear two times and the ride he went on almost everyday in MK. We did a character lunch and my 16 mos old frieked out. Poor thing. Even Sleeping Beauty came up to him a the parade at MK and he started to cry. Best part we asked for a view of Epcot and got it. Everynight we saw the fireworks it was great.

So as it stand we have been to Disney three times in 2 1/2 years and my dh thinks it is time to take a break until Spring 2006 (Wow that seems so far away). But the baby will be four and I guess it would be better. He really was a trooper but he was in his stoller alot.

I've recently read some negative posts on BCV, so I'm kind of nervous. Loved my last stay there. Please tell me what room # you had, size, view, good CMs? Did you eat at B&C? If so, what did you have and how was it?

We were in a two bedroom lock off my mom and my older ds were in the studio. Me, my ds and baby were in the master. We did eat at B&C once it was okay, nothing to write home about we all just had burgers and I had the sirlon steak sandwich. We did get icecream but not the kitchen sink, it looked good though. Our view was great Epcot was to our right and we saw the Spaceship Earth and Epcot sign and the fireworks everynight. My kids really enjoyed that. The CMs were great especially at the front desk and at the pool. The only problem was we got the mugs that are about $10 but free refills and the CMs at B&C seemed anoyed when we went in for refills. I think they should have a self service line for that. Overall the stay was great and I can only compare it to the All Stars which we did like esp sports having two boys at the time. But we need a lot more room now and I really enjoyed having our own space. Especially since the Yankees were in the playoffs and my sons and husband wanted to watch every game. I will never go again when the Yankees are playing. LOL.
