Just got back last night from a week at Disney. Spent the first night at POP (to save on weekend points) and the next 5 at BCV. VWL is our home, so this was our first trip to WDW not at VWL. The crowds were low -- they had predicted for Ernesto to arrive on Wednesday -- a number of counties had even given the school day off. We went to MGM that day -- pretty much no lines for anything. Did RNRC 7 times -- the rain did not even begin until about 4:30, and it was not bad at all. Went to all the parks and TL. Did everything we wanted -- favorites multiple times. We also did the dining plan and that worked out really well. For TS we did Boma (my favorite), Cape May, Liberty Tree, Prime Time, and Tepanyaki. We enjoyed all -- and had Topher as our waiter at Prime Time. We had him once before and he is great! Our AK day a CM came over before the park was open and asked us if we wanted to be the "honorary safari family" for the day. What a great experience! We were taken into the park before opened, taken to the safari area and were given a private safari ride with our own guide. The animals were so close and even on the road. After that we walked over to Expedition Everest (the park was now open for a while) and had maybe a 5 minute wait. Things we loved -- Cirque du Soleil, being Safari Family (with our own safari guide Chelsea) , Crush n Gusher at TL, the juggler at the Boardwalk, Topher, our tour guide on the Jungle Cruise (Steve I think), Magical Express, Dole Whips, Soarin, Turtle Talk, Earl of Sandwich, and Miyuki the Japanese animal candy lady -- and more I can't remember. BCV was very convenient and we loved the pool there. All the transportation was fine. We go this time every other year and we love the low crowds.
