Just back from BCV - any questions?

Hi Everyone,

We just returned from our 10/30 - 11/04 trip to the BCV. It was our first time there and we loved it. DH likes it better than OKW. He thinks the OKW rooms are too big, but when you bring a crowd, they are a good deal.

We were on the 5th floor and it was quite a hike from the main lobby, which was ok by us. The room was very clean on 1st inspection - no mold, no spots, and everything seemed to be in working order. Some little nags - the fan in the potty didn't work. Don't know why and it was never fixed while we were there. Also, there was a slight leak under the washing machine at one point - looked like a dry stain. Didn't appear to be leaking when we ran it.

Minor snafu before we checked in - Our in-laws were staying 1 night in a studio before heading over to the Dolphin. We were spending the entire time at BCV. I had ordered a crib and stroller from A Baby's Best Friend, and the BCV had the staff put the items in my in-laws room rather than ours. Luckily they were in 549 and we were in 545, so I was able to roll them over.

We didn't quite have a view of the fireworks, but I'm happy - I got an awesome shot of a rainbow over the BCV on 11/03.

We loved the location since we're primarily Epcot visitors. I'm sure we'll be returning, although now DH wants to try Boardwalk.

Isn't the short walk from DVC into Epcot just wonderful? It is a bit odd to be walking on the first floor patios along the back side of BC -- tought they might make a bit more room for a sidewalk, but what the heck it gets the job done.
