Just back from Amerisuites Calypso Cay

Just got back from 4 nights at the Amerisuites in Calypso Cay. Room was great w/ a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was ok - I like Country Inn & Suites breakfast better.

Pool & mini golf areas nice - my room overlooked the mini golf. Very close to a Publix, and restaurants.

Please let me know if you have any ?s and I will try to answer them all.

Was the pool heated? How late were they open? We have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites before, but my sister is going down there in a couple of weeks for the first time. My nephew is really looking forward to the water slide and putt-putt. I saw that they were expanding the area to include more timeshare units. Are there any new pools along with that? Thanks. Glad you had a good time.

Hi zaxmom,

The pools are heated, and were open until either 10pm or 11pm.

Not sure about the new areas--didn't go by there.

I'm sure your sister & her family will enjoy staying here - I loved the fact that the mini golf is free for guests.
