We are just back too. June 17-June 22. We actually left a day early due to the rain, and that we had accomplished everything we set out to do. Upon check out the CM asked my husband "are you sick of the rain".
The Music is my favorite of the all stars since it appears to be less crowded than the movies. I've stayed at all three all stars and in order I would pick Music, Movies, Sports. We were in room 401 in the Calapsyo Building right next to the corridor near the housekeeping hub. I was nervous upon check in when I saw the location but it seems like the room had been soundproofed to buffer the noise because we really had no problems. We were directly down the walkway to the parking lot which was convenient in the rain so that we could walk under cover.
We only used the pool for about 45 minutes one day but temp in the poor was great. Did laundry and for once the laundry room was not crowded and I was able to get a washer and dryer without waiting. DRYERS STILL DO NOT DRY. I requested loads of hangers from housekeeping and they were there within minutes.
Food court was rarely packed and the mug program was not in force as of yet.
Grounds were upkept as usual and as always we had an enjoyable experience despite the rain.
Doesn't mean it won't still happen, just not as of June 21-25!
Stayed in Building 2 and room was fine.
Just RAINED the whole Dang time!
