We checked our bags with CDS and enjoyed several hours downtown before catching a taxi to the airport.

Did you need reservations with CDS? We will be cruising Alaska in a couple weeks and were planning to store our luggage with them before embarkation so we can do some sightseeing.

I contacted them previously (we sail 8/8 and this is our plan as well) and they indicated that I just pop over there and dump the bags with them.

We did not have reservations. We just walked over and checked our bags. It was very easy.

How was the fjord day? I've heard that Tracy Arm is still closed so ships have been cruising Endicott Arm instead. I'm on the July 18th sailing, so I don't know the likelihood that we'll get into Tracy Arm at this point. Did you still enjoy Endicott? On the boat right now. Endicott was an awesome day. I was really bummed we werent going to Tracy Arm till I saw Endicott. It was beautiful.

Also, any report on merchandise? Did you do any shopping that you could tell me which of the Alaska specific items were available?

Endicott was amayzing. You will enjoy it. I wasted a lot of time being bummed out about not going to Tracy arm. I don't feel like we missed a thing going to Endicott

There were kids in the pools every day. It's definitely warm enough to swim.
