Just Back from AKLV!

We were in the same area as thefram for a day. We did complain twice and were moved during our trip. Aside from the DVC construction, there is painting being done on some sections of Jambo house.

Your experience will depend on whether you get stuck with a construction view room or not. Disney should really be deeply discounting those affected rooms.

If your were that unhappy with the room location, could you have asked to switch rooms?

I could have but for the following reasons I didnt:

1. I didnt actually get into the room until 5pm as it hadnt been cleaned

2. I had already waited twice in the 45 min queue at check in and it was getting longer

3. I had 8 nights at OKW and 3 nights at VB prior to AKL and didnt really want to move again
