Just Back from AKL - amazing!

Did you participate in any of the activities around the hotel? Glad you had a wonderful trip!

We didn't take advantage of most of the activities because we were there with other family and they were more focused on the parks. We did swim at the pool, eat lunch at Mara (best counter service food I've had in a while -- great sandwich wraps and rotisserie chicken), and ate dinner at Jiko. We saw some people doing the Sunset Safari. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. I'm sure the dinner at Jiko is nice, but the animal part didn't seem too exciting. I'd love to do the Sunrise Safari on a future trip -- I just think the animal sightings would be better in AK than at the Lodge.
