Love Pop always stay at Pop.... some things seem to have changed or I just have a bad memory (since last time I was there feb 2012)

why is the foodcourt open til "12 midnight" yet all but 1 food station is closed by 11pm?

It sucked! Like when you get back from a park and youre hungry you cant get anything... except pizza or pasta. the only station still open.

and. . .

all but one soda island was closed.. no ice nothing.. no straws... so everyone is fighting to get to the one beverage island/station still open.

kinda sucked. but I mean.. other than that.. Pop is great. I dont remember it being this way? Ive stayed there almost always in the fall same week, every year for the last 10 years.. (I happen to be there in feb too this year but mostly its the fall)

any opinions or reasons why its this way?

I have never stayed at POP btut have heard good things about it. but wow! That's crazy about the drink station esp. I think I would lose my mind if I had to go through that!

I dont get it either?? :confused3

was never like that before... wonder why it changed? They were cleaning up and closing down covering everything up. too early.. like they were in a rush to get things done for the night.

The line for the pizza station was always long, (because was the only choice for food) I thought maybe they closed other stations because there wasnt enough guests to warrent keeping them open. but that wasnt true.. always a lot of people in the food court.

Been there a couple times. As far as i can recall, its always been this way. I dont think its a big deal to be honest. At that hour im greatful that anything is open. lol.

Pretty sure it has always been that way for the food stations. They close at different times, some earlier than others. As for the ice and straws, did you inform a CM? I cannot imagine them saying "tough luck" in that situation. I would think they would have accommodated you. We have arrived late several times and there was only one drink station open as far as I can remember. We've stayed there every year since 2007.

It stuck out more to me this time than previous yeaRS. For the most part I wouldnt eat that late... there was one particular night we were hungry and had pizza. Rest of the week I didnt eat in the food court ... but the soda fountain situation sucked. everyone crowding around one side trying to get a drink.

Just sayin.

did you ever try to go to AoA's food court to grab something to eat ?
it's also open 'til midnight and a short walk across the bridge.

At least we now get 2 food courts in that "twin" resort. (and Landscape of flavors has quite some good items on their menu)

omg! right! I didnt even get over there once and I could see it from my room at Pop.. I never thought about this! ugh. :(

next time.

We always stay at pop century & it has always been that way.

I just asked my mom. I mentioned about what I posted. she says she remembers it always being that way... I guess i was wrong..

Maybe because this trip, on average we arrived back to the hotel between 11 and 12 almost every night.
