Hi everyone, I've really enjoyed all of the dining reviews I've read in the past. They've helped me make our dining decisions and I wanted to make sure I posted our reviews as well.

We were in WDW 11/26-11/29. It was myself and DM and we used the DDP. This is the 2nd time we've paid for the DDP and we really enjoy it.

Monday: We checked into SSR and decided to run over to Wolfgang Pucks Express at DTD for dinner. We were there at 5pm and it was just starting to get busy but there was still plenty of tables. This was our 1st time trying this restaurant and we were both really pleased. We each decided to try the pizza.

DM got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza which she enjoyed very much. She said that it reminded her more of NY style pizza and less of the thin crust California kind. I got the barbeque chicken pizza. This was also excellent although I couldn't eat much of it because I was just getting over some stomach issues from the day before. Luckily, this was the only meal that I couldn't really appreciate because of being sick. The only drink choice with the DDP is a fountain drink and we decided to each get the packaged brownie for dessert. At first the pizza looked a little small but it's really filling and neither of us could finish it. We were both glad that we chose a dessert that we could save for another time. We actually ended up bringing the brownie home and had it last night. It was a very fudgy brownie with chocolate chips and we enjoyed it. Our total without the DDP would have been $31.63.

This was our favorite CS of our trip and we'll be back. Two big :thumbsup2

Tuesday: We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We got there at 11:15am and it was empty. We try to eat lunch before 11:30am so we can avoid the crowds and this really seems to work. I had the Starboard deck sandwich which is ham and cheese with broccoli slaw on toasted multi grain bread. The sandwich was huge and they really put alot of ham on it. It was very tasty but it was edged out by what DM got which was the anchors away sandwich.

This was a tuna sandwich with lettuce and tomato on toasted multi grain bread. The ham and cheese was good but the tuna was the best. Each sandwich came with a bag of chips which we saved for later. The chips were the thicker cut potato chips which actually held up pretty well in our bags. We each got the crisp for dessert. We didn't really care for it and we thought that the slice of apple pie that columbia harbour house used to have was much better. I know that dessert comes with the CS on the DDP but it's usually not that good and we end up not really eating it. 2CS $23.00 aprox

On the way out of MK I stopped at the Main Street Bakery for the toll house cookie ice cream sandwich. Oh my gosh I can't believe I've never tried one of these. It was hand scooped vanilla ice cream on fresh chocolate chip cookies. We asked for an extra plate and shared it. It was plenty. I saw other varieties of cookies that you could have instead. There was sugar, PB and oatmeal. This was a great use of a snack credit. $3.99

Dinner was at Tuttlo Italia in Epcot. This was the first time we've eaten in the Italy pavilion in many years. We had an ADR for 5:15pm which I had tried to make for a later time but no such luck. It was fully booked until 9pm. The check in area was busy but we only waited for 10 mins to be seated. We were seated at a table for 2 and I know I heard that they had removed some tables to make it more roomy but the space was still a little tight. If the restaurant hadn't been noisy we could have easily listened into our neighbors conversation. This wouldn't stop me from going back but this is a pet peeve of mine.

The waiter and assistant waiter introduced themselves and brought over some small dishes with assorted olives, raw carrots, herb butter, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and some nice rustic bread. I thought this was a really nice spread considering it was free. This could have subbed as an appetizer if you had light eaters.

For appetizer I had mussels in a spicy tomato broth that was out of this world. I dipped the bread into the broth and I could have eaten this all night. DM had the prosciutto di parma with melon which she really enjoyed. It was a nice amount of good quality prosciutto with sweet melon.

For the main course we each had pasta. I had trofie pasta with pesto sauce. It was very tasty but after a few bites I wanted something more. DM had the penne caprese with fresh mozzarella and basil. She liked this but also agreed that after a few bites she wanted more. Both pastas were good but in the end they were just big plates of pasta. Next time we would choose one of the fish or meat dishes.

Dessert for me was the copetta sotto bosco which turned out to be my favorite dessert. It was sliced fresh strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with ice cream that had a strong almost rum flavor to it. I'm already craving this for our next trip and I'm going to be so disappointed if it's not on the menu. DM had the tiramisu which was made the traditional way with espresso. I don't like coffee flavored desserts and it had a very strong coffee flavor but DM really enjoyed it.

This was a wonderful meal and we'll return here. Another big 2 :thumbsup2

P.S. Just to let you know dinner at Tutto Italia did take almost 1&1/2 hours. This was fine with us but if you're in a rush keep that in mind.

Thanks for the reviews. We loved the pizza at WPE. Tutto Italia sounds good :)

Wednesday: Well today was the last day. We stopped by Flame Tree Barbeque at the AK. This was our first time here and DM had a hard time letting go of the fact that Tusker House is now a buffet. I got the 1/2 slab of ribs with beans and a corn muffin and I was surprised at just how good these were considering that this is CS. I did end up putting so much barbeque sauce on the ribs that I could have used a bib. Oh well. As other people have complained the beans are way to sweet but the corn muffin was good. It was actually a pretty large muffin and I wished I could have saved it for breakfast the next morning. I should start carrying around baggies with me. DM got the pulled pork sandwich and declared it good but not great. She started eying my ribs so I gave her one. We both had the key lime pie which I thought was pretty bland. Overall a very good CS choice and we'll be back for the ribs.

Next up Narcoossee's

Narcoossee's: We haven't been here in years so we were really looking forward to trying this restaurant again. We made and ADR for 5:35pm and it was already dark and cinderella's castle was lit up. It was a very pretty view from the restaurant. We each started with the cheese plate for appetizer. This was 3 different cheeses. They were a blue cheese with honied walnuts, a creamy goat cheese with cranberry jam, and a mild cheese with sliced dried apricots and dates. There was also fresh made walnut bread crackers to go with it. We both agreed this was outstanding.

For main course we both got the surf and turf. This was a petite fillet mignon with green peppercorn sauce and a rather large lobster tail. This came with au gratin potatoes and asparagus. This was delicious although we both ended up leaving our fillet because we were getting full at it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Next time we come here it'll be the whole lobster for us.

Dessert was the apple cobbler with rum raisin ice cream for me. DM got the key lime creme brulee. I didn't care for the cobbler and ended up leaving that and finishing DM's creme brulee. Well another restaurant that we'll have to come back to. Outstanding. :thumbsup2
