Hello to all.
We got to POR at 11:00 a.m. and guess what? They had a room available! We were so happy! It was a long drive from Ohio, and we wanted to get out of the car.
We went on to explore AK and there was no waiting in line. It was amazing. We were the last ones on the Dinosaur ride and got a photo of us screaming! My DS-8 had his hands over his eyes and my hand over his hands! Looks quite funny!
Sunday we got to ride in the front of the monorail to EE at MK.
I could not believe our timing. The longest wait we had was about 25 minutes and that was for It's a small world!
The kids loved Buzz Lightyear spin thing, and I even got to see COP. My father in law asked about it when I saw him at Christmas!
Loved the timekeeper one, but I did get a few tears in my eyes when I saw the Trade towers in N.Y.
Did so much that day, and hardly had a wait. Saw lots of characters!
Later that evening my DD-17 and I went to Cirque! It was wonderful! Worth every penny!
Monday we decided to go to MGM. I LOVED THIS PLACE!
Kids loved Star tours. Too many things to do here! Fantasmic was wonderful. Did not have to wait too long for the show....had great seats!
Tues, we only spent half the day at Epcot. It started raining and we had to get on the road to Savannah, our next stop.
But, we had a wonderful time every day. We are planning another trip in about two years. This time though, we will stay at least a week. We are considering DVC, also.
The only bad news on my trip...when we got to Savannah Christmas eve, all was well. We went to my husbands neices house on Christmas day, my mother in law was having a heart attack. She is recovering well, but will have to stay in Savannah until she is more stable. So, the trip went well, MIL is recovering, we are home and safe!
Hope everyone else's trip was safe and they are home again.
Take care,
Lisajl
