Just back from a four day trip

Just got back last night and already feeling that post Disney depression. Only way to cure that is at least think about planning another trip... So I haven't been during Christmas time in years. I went to MVMCP as a kid and loved it and I'm thinking about it for this year. My question, is although the holidays are crowded when is the best time to go? I'm leaning towards the first week of December since I work in retail and probably can not get of closer to Christmas. Also, are ticket prices and hotel nights crazy expensive??

First week of December would not be a bad time to go, crowd wise. You can check out room rates here:

There have been other threads on this forum recently about MVMCP, you can look for them, consensus seems to be that every year it gets more and more expensive and crowded.

You can also go in November, the week before Thanksgiving. By then, the decorations are up and MVMCP is in full swing

Fyi...1st week ofDecember is one of the most popular times for DVC owners...like me, who has a trip that week lol!

I believe that that the only park that you can be assured will be completely decorated for Christmas during that week is MK, because they have to be fully decked out for MVMCP. The other parks are slower to put up their Christmas decor and may not be fully decorated until after Thanksgiving.

After 4 yrs of post Disney or cruise blues, we just moved here. I recommend that.
