Just back from 8 hot and crowded days any Question

Just returned yesterday from 8 wonderful days at the Kingdom it was very hot and crowded this year we go the same time every year this was by far the most people I have seen. We stayed at CBR it was great!!!! Any ?

Just wondering if you are an early riser and hit the parks at opening. Did you at least have a couple hours that weren't too crowded? We leave in a couple days and I'm worried about no early entry!!

We also just returned (6/8) and found the parks (especially Magic Kingdom) to be crowded as well. We've gone the first week in June several times and this is the most crowded I can remember.

We went to Magic Kingdom the first time Sunday morning at 9:00, hearing that Sunday's are generally quiet at Magic Kingdom. We had time for the Carousel, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, and Peter Pan. After these 4 rides, the stand by times suddenly jumped. I'd say it was very busy from about 10:30am on through the entire day.

Disappointed that we didn't get much done at Magic Kingdom on Sunday, we went back on Tuesday night. We arrived at about 6:45 and there were already people lining up on the curbs for the 9:00 Spectromagic. By about 8:15 it was almost like closing time. There were so many people on main street it was difficult to move.

The rest of the parks were better, but the 2 days we were at Magic Kingdom, I thought were very busy based on past experience during the first week of June.

isn't the first week gay day? that could be the reason for the large crowds. I was there 4 yrs ago at this time and it was crowded but that just seemed to add to the excitment of being there.

Next year we are planning on going to WDW the 2nd week in June. Can't wait!

I was there May 4-11 and I found that Magic Kingdom was more crowded than I am used to. I think no EE causes more traffic during the day. My friend and I got up and arrived at the park by 8:45. They let us in a few minutes early, but we only had an hour or so before tons of people arrived. NO WAIT at all for attractions in the other parks! We had a great time, but HAD to get up early to avoid MK lines. There were no e-rides nights which was a disapppointment because I am not a morning person!

Thanks Blondie it's good to be back but hated to leave the Kingdom.

Buckeye, yes we were at every park opening they even had an Early opening at AK and MGM on Saturday June 1 because of the heavy crowds expected at MK for the Gay day events there. I guess you may have 45min to an hour before it got shoulder to shoulder.

dtaven, we also did the Sunday thing because in the past it has been the best day but not this trip I was really shocked. Disney can no longer try and tell me that the number of guest are down I have now seen first hand.

Gail T AGIAN the offical/nonoffical gay week was the week before Gay day is the 1st Saturday in June so next year it will be the 1st week of June.

we just got back today and found all parks to be UnCrowded with the exception of the Magic Kingdom it was not bad the first day we went which was Thurs.

But Monday June 10th they had full cap!

we turned around got back into our car and went to Epcot instead.
