I didn't really like the ABC Commissary but it wasn't because of the quality of the food. I just did not like the Cuban sandwich. Everything else was GREAT!

You certainly ate at some fab places ~ Are you doing a more detailed review?

Look forward to reading your reviews.
I have been hearing alot of bad reviews for Le Cellier, what did you think of the service and the food? Also, I am curious to hear what you thought of Pecos Bill. We were thinking there for Lunch as well. :confused3

TIA!

I'm looking forward to reading your dining report. You can be one of the first to post on our new Dining Review sub-board. :woohoo:

I also would like to hear about Ohana's since they changed the menu recently.

Did you feel like you got poor service as a result of being on the dining plan?

Did you have to wait longer than previously to actually get your table, or were you seated pretty close to your ADR time?

I'm asking because I'm curioius about how the increasing popularity of DDP is affecting the restaurants, in particular the table service ones, and in particular, in the area of service.

I don't want to hijack someone eles thread, but I'll give you my impressions from a month ago. We did not have any problems with service at all. I always checked in about 10 minutes early and we were always seated almost immediatly. Maybe a 5 minute wait. I don't know if it was because it was the middle of May, but we ate dinner at 6:30p every night and it was never really crowded in the restaurants. Even in Le Cellier.

I have really enjoyed other dining reviews, so I do plan to write my own and include some pictures as well!

How was Ohana? i've read some good and some bad- we are still going-

We loved it five years ago and really enjoyed it on this trip too. My DH did miss the shrimp skewers, but the new bread pudding dessert made him forget all about it. We all really liked the potatoes even though they do seem a wee bit out of place.

Le Cellier was great and service was excellent. It was very crowded but we were seated about 10 minutes after our ADR at 6:30. Pecos Bill's was a mad house but we were able to grab a seat upstairs and the infamous fixin's bar was really neat!

Would really like to know about the beach club marketplace.

Can't say enough good things about the BC Marketplace! Love, love, loved it!

WCC was fun. Our server was amusing and the food was very good. My DH proclaimed theirs the best steak on property, and he ate one at every TS that offered one.

Our longest wait times were at The Brown Derby and 50's Prime. Probably 20-30 minutes past ADR during the very busy 6 o'clock dinner hour. I really don't think service was affected by the DDP and we had several very helpful CM's explain our options and make suggestions.

:) :) Hope that helps!

Hi!
At the 50's PT, were you given any restrictions on
what desserts you could choose on the DP?
I hope not because I have my eye on the
Daddy des.!!!
thanks! Great reviews!

Is HDDR still the same? We have ADRs for our T-Day trip and my kids will be VERY disappointed if it has changed.

Good news! There were no restrictions and I saw more than a few Dad's Super Sundae's go by! We had a super sundae, S'mores, and two chocolate shakes! Yum-dilly-icious!
