Hi everyone.... I'm back :(

We had a great time of course. Could have had better weather. A lot of rain but not cold, which was nice considering what it was here. Guess I shouldn't complain.
Animal Kingdom Lodge was great. Really liked it there. The atmosphere is so awesome. Our stay at All-star Music was nice too. This place is most definitely worth the $49 per night we spent.
We sat in down pour rain for the Candlelight Processional. James Avery was our guest speaker. He was very good. The show was wonderful but we were soaked. We thought we would get seats under the cover but we were too late. They let people in before the 30 min. which is the time we got there. Our dinner at Le Cellier was fantastic. Had the Filet Mignon with a mushroom dusting which was wonderful. Creme Brulee for desert. The best Creme Brulee I have ever had. This was most definitely worth the cost of the Candlelight Processional Dinner package.
Mickey Very Merry Christmas party was very nice too. This day the weather was beautiful. We didn't even need sweatshirts. It was snowing on Main Street, almost like a blizzard! There was so much snow blowing! We viewed the second (10:40) parade which was great too. All the rides were walk-ons. It was a very special night.
Osborne Lights were fantastic! Watched the lighting ceremony which is very nice. The lights are just so unbelievable. Wasn't too crowded either.
We had dinner at Cape May cafe which is always great. I love muscles and ate about 3 buckets full.
Also viewed the lighting of the Arch and Christmas tree at Epcot. Listened to Cast in Bronze afterwards. This too was awesome. The lights are just so beautiful.
Did a lot of just walking around and absorbing and enjoying the beauty. Listening to the Christmas Carols.
We had such a good, special, awesome, wonderful time. We are already planning on going next year. Have hopes of staying at Beach Club Villas. The studio there is really nice. Have to check out my points availability.

Sounds like a wonderful trip - I am just back and have to admit to some cold days and a couple of real wet ones too - thanks for posting!

We leave in 15 days! Hope the weather warms up! Thanks for posting!

Welcome Back!

I'm glad you had a great time in spite of the weather.:D

Welcome home! Glad you enjoyed your trip despite the rain. :)

Did you go to the CP Monday, Dec. 9th? That's the night we went. We arrived about 40 - 45 minutes early after eating at Rose & Crown and found two full rows roped off under the canopy. The CM's said they were being saved for the family of the orchestra. We and others just ahead of us complained, and we asked to talk to a supervisor or manager and shortly after that, they took the ropes down and we sat under the canopy. There were not two separate lines (one for dinner ticket holders and one for non-ticket holders) like there was suppose to be. I know it was because of the pouring rain, but as far as I'm concerned, we paid for those seats! Too bad they let the non-dinner-ticket holders get in before us.
And I'm sorry you sat in the rain. James Avery was very good and really got into the Christmas music and Christmas spirit. We really enjoyed the show.

Yes we were there on Dec 9, 6:45 show.
I'm not telling my husband how you got the "correct" seats. We noticed all the reserved seats under the canopy too. We asked and was given the same response from the Cast Member, that they were reserved for Disney Executives and Choir family members. He wanted to complain but I was in Disney mode and said don't, we can cope with the rain. It wasn't handle correct at all. I still loved it. After it started I really didn't even notice the rain (sort of). This kind of stuff isn't my husband's thing. I told my husband that us sitting in the pouring rain made it more memorable.
I would go back right now no matter what the weather conditions were. The weather conditions are still better there then they are here in upstate NY. You can tell I'm not happy about being back!!! ;)
