So we got back around 2am on Monday moring from our week of free dining and other then Resort issues the trip was awesome. So here are my families reviews.
O'Hana's- Dinner This was voted #1 by the whole family hands down. They all agreed it is a must do. We did have to wait a while for samples of all the different meats but everything we ate was amazing. First night and new tradition for our family.
Akershus- Dinner We were so looking forward to this for the princess interaction. We we got princesses and we got awful service and awful food. The beef tips were all grisle and the salmon was dry. I think we saw our waitress twice the whole eveing and once was because I sent another waitress to look for her. Will never do again
Boma- Dinner The waiter was wonderful and very accomodating and the food was good but not stellar. We are big fish eaters and the salmon here was good but everything else was just okay.
Crystal Palace- Breakfast was wondeful as usual. This is our families traditional resturaunt on every trip and it was great as usual. Always get those 8:05 ressies on a day the park opens at 9am and you get to enjoy the park almost to yourself.
LeCelliar - Dinner was excellent! I had the filet which has never disappointed. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The Canadian Cheddar Soup was great and the pretzel bread was a wonderful compliment. We walked away from this meal stuffed and carrying out our dessert in boxes.
50's Prime Time Cafe- Dinner I had not been here in years as our last experience years ago had been disappointing but DH wanted to try it. I was very pleased with the food and the service. Tim was great and a member of our party was playing around and had to hold a sugar packet against the wall with his nose while he counted to 100 to learn his lesson. The food was good too. I had the pork tenderlion which was tender and juicy and DD had the fried chicken which was really good too. DS got the salmon again and he enjoyed it.
Overall lesson include DD 5 will not eat anything but grilled cheese sandwiches whichluckily most restaruants were willing to accomodated even if it wasn't on the menu. DDP overall would have saved up money if we had paid OOP for it. However we found being commited to a restaraunt and dining time almost everyday was too much for us and in the future are more likely to use the QSDP and pay OOP for 2-3 table service meals.
