Just returned from another wonderful trip to WDW and Epcot F&W festival. Did two F&W pairings (our first) which DH and I both thought were a highlight of the trip. PFTS was great although we were bummed that the glasses were not dated. Does anyone know, were they dated for earlier PFTS? The dated glasses were a really great souvenier. However, this undated glass is bigger so now I won't have to refull as often. LOL! Went to two wine seminars - both Vineyard specific. One was OK, the other was a sleeper. I like the seminars better that have an "impartial" Sommelier, rather that a sepcific vineyard. Did 4 cooking demonstrations, one could only watch because did not get in in line early enough. Enjoyed it almost as much though! And of course, ate our way through Epcot numerous times and still had to spend the last day overeating to try and retry everything. Hate to sound biased to home country, but America definitely took the best prize for Lobster and Corn Chowder and Cabot Cheese Crab Cakes. Lots of close seconds though! Bummed that cookbooks were sold out, guess I'll have to rely on the internet for recipes. can't wait for next year, although we also want to do December and don't know if we can afford both, so will have to ponder that.
Suggestion to the moderators, maybe start a thread in early Cotbeor that get's "pinned" for six weeks or so, that says post your f&W reviews here. While it might be decided to "unpin" it a couple weeks after f&W ends, it would be there for the next year to see a compilation of reviews from the prior year. Just a thought.
