Just back: EMH at MK was huge time-saver

Just back from fabulous Thanksgiving trip! Parks were crowded, but I wanted to share our awesome experience with EMH at MK on Monday, Nov 23.

The park was set to open at 8am, so EMH was at 7am. I balked at this, but it was SO worth it. They let us in at about 6:50, and we rode Peter Pan, Pooh, Tea Cups, Buzz Lightyear, and Peoplemover all before official opening at 8!

At 8, we rode Splash, then Jungle Cruise, then Pirates and Haunted Mansion with tons of time to spare before our 10:15 FP for Thunder Mountain. It was pretty much everything we wanted to do, and it was all walk-on!

We ate lunch early at 10:30 at Columbia Harbour House, and by the time we were finished, crowds were up and lines were long. Peter Pan was well over an hour and a half by that point.

So... To maximize ride time, use that EMH if you can!

Great! I'm passing this onto a friend. She was worried about Spring Break crowds but they're a family of 5am risers. I told her I thought that would serve them well and it sounds like it does.

We really like morning EMH at MK, totally agree with you that it is worth it to get up and going early!

We did Spring Break and did early EMH, escaped for a midday break, then came back later or went to another park. We saw the really heavy crowds start to stream in about 11. I stood in the Emporium doing some shopping before leaving. So glad we got it done early! Other parks this works well at as well. Evening EMH is another matter tho, sometimes crowds can increase unless they are open really late.
