We just got back on Sunday and I just wanted to post about the new things we tried on this trip. We finally got on Soarin', actually twice. The wait was an hour to two hours when we checked in a few times so on the way to Norway Princess breakfast my husband went and got a fast pass right at 9 a.m. and we got on at 10:30. It was awesome. Even my 4-year-old loved it, her first "big girl" ride. I highly recommend getting in early and getting that fast pass. We went another day later in the week and got there around 11 a.m. and got a fast pass for 2 p.m. When we were there fast passes were gone for the day between 3 and 4 p.m. We also did Turtle Talk with Crush for the first time, twice also! It was really funny and entertaining so definitely fit it in if you haven't. Each show is different depending on the audience interaction. And the other new thing for us this trip was at MGM, the stunt show. My girls, ages 4 and 8, weren't very interested but they ended up loving it, it was really great.

We had a great week. The weather was very hot but we did the best we could and saw as much as possible. We're going back in 4 months so I'm ready to plan again. Next time we have to hit Expedition Everest, it was the only thing we really didn't get to. Thanks for listening!

its great that you and youre family had a wonderful time :wave2:
I have a question... Did anyone fell sick after Soarin? my dh is very sensitive guy :sad2: but I think hes going to love it!

Thanks for the update! I appreciate the fast pass tip. We are going at the end of August and it will be our first time during a busy season!

I went on Soarin' twice last year - first in a seat close to the center, and next time way off to one side. The first ride was great, but the second one made me VERY sick to my stomach. That curved screen can be wicked. Ask for a center seat!

I was worried about Soarin too. I did Mission Space when it first opened and I was sick and dizzy the rest of the week! I also don't like simulators like Star Tours either. I told my husband I was nervous about Soarin since I seem to have a motion thing these days (in my old age!) but I wanted to at least try it. I had no problem either time. I sat in Row 3 which is the bottom (lowest) row each time and we were on the end section. He should try it at least once and I would say just look forward and enjoy the feeling. My first time on I was busy trying to see if my 4-year old was o.k. and kept looking to the side but I enjoyed it much more the 2nd time when I just sat back and looked at the screen. Have fun!!

That's great! We'll be trying all of that for the first time in December. All of those thigns were open when I was there last December, but it was Christmas week and we were only in the parks for 3 days so I couldn't wait in the 2 and 3 hour long lines. :( Looking forward to trying it out!! Thanks for the report!

My DS7 and I rode Soarin together and we both loved it :thumbsup2 I thought this ride lived up to all of the hype. I agree that you need to get your fast passes early for this one. We had to change our Biergarten ADR because our fast pass time fell into our lunch ADR. My son loves roller coasters so the "flying" didn't bother him in the least.

Welcome Back!! Thanks for the Fast Pass tip...we will do the same thing since we have ressies at Norway Princess Breakfast too!! And I'm glad to hear that your DD loved it as my DD is years old too!! :thumbsup2
