This is a trip report?

a "just back" report, then...whatever you want to call someone posting their opinion of FP+ soon after they return from their trip. There's certainly plenty of them on this board.

Angel Ariel, you make some excellent points. Some people just can't seem to get it that the new system doesn't work well for everyone. At least not yet.

I personally appreciate the feedback both good and bad. It helps to know what to expect from both sides.

I've seen very similar threads disappear from this message board and get magically transported to the trip report board. It seems to be a rather subjective determination.

we are currently in wdw right now.. still have 3 parks days out of 8... for my families touring style (we are rope droppers) we are not fans either! I have yet to be successful one single time in changing ANY of our fps for a different time for my family of 7... perhaps a smaller family will have no issues, but any big family or families traveling together going into the summer season... good luck

I feel like this whole new system is way more limiting and not flexable at all.. again maybe a smaller family is having better luck then us... I feel like most times I can't even stop and feed my kids, b/c we are running late for our fp (and of course can't change it) so use it or lose it.. and for the headliners you better use it...

we are having fun and making the best of it, but not a fan... I personally only see this new system beneficial to non rope dropper... we are getting
less done then in trips past in the morning..

I will say though at MK the other night, we closed it down and got to ride 15 rides in about 4 1/2 hours using number 4 and 5 fp... we got soo much more done that night than during the day.
I am hestitant to post anything b/c if you don't like fp+ it seems, the user is doing it wrong, and can't possible be bad.. don't get me wrong there are definite pros but lots and lots of cons as well... well be interesting to see the "final" product..

I feel that FP+ allows us to have way more spontaneity than we ever have before! Mainly it is due to knowing we have our top choices locked in. The last 3 trips we have had FP+ and these 3 trips have been the most relaxing ones ever because there was no worry of "OMG, are we going to be able to get on Peter Pan or TSMM or Soarin?!" Being scheduled in advance gave us a HUGE sense of relief so we could spend time doing other things.

We always made our FP+ selections for our second park of the day, that way when we arrived we just waltzed onto our rides - it was awesome! It felt so carefree and easy.

I LOVE not having to run all over to retrieve paper FP, only to find out once you get there they are gone or the time is much later than you wanted. At least at a Kiosk you can check what's available and at times, manipulate the arrival time to suit your needs. Our last trip was 6 days (May 22-27) and only once did I encounter lines for FP+ kiosk and that was at MK. Took about 10 minutes. The lines look overwhelming, but they really do move pretty quickly as there are several kiosks, plus CMs with handheld tablets.

Anyway, sorry that so many others don't like it. But for my family, it works great!

I think it implied there was more time for spontaneous activity with the stress of securing times for big priorities out of the way.
