Just back - Bridal Headband (pics added in later post)

I figure this has probably been posted before but just in case it hasn't - We just got back from our honeymoon and they now sell the bridal headband in the parks at WDW. I ordered the beenie and top hat thru WDW florist so we would have it when we arrived since I didn't get the time to order the headband - well at AK I saw on a cart (creature carts) the Headband so I bought it and although it doesn't stay on as well as the beenie with pins it was MUCH more comfortable - I later saw them at Le Chapeau at MK and in a few other places - I was told they were brand new to the WDW parks. They were $16.

Oh DH's hat didn't fit him so before I left in case it didn't I bought him a Just Married Baseball cap and everyone kept asking where he hat was - he decided to wear the top hat anyway (even though it didn't fit) and we got soooooo much more attention!!! I will post a full review in a few days when I get a chance - but we suddenly got free desserts, preferential treatment on MANY rides, and well as special attention at various shows.

CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding

We are going for our honneymoon in 88 days and counting and we also have the headband and top hat to wear. Didi you wear them at every park and was the attention ok or did it get a bit much?

I have been thinking about whether to get the handband or hat, from what I have read from other peoples posts you get alot more attention if you have the bride and groom hates. Im not sure if the mens one will fit my H2B but hopes so. The bride hat I think I will just keep in place with hair pins and take it off when I go on the rollercoasters etc, think that sounds like a good plan.

How do you get them delivered to your room ready to start your honeymoon?? Is this something I can organise from the UK via my wedding co-ordinator??

Thanks for posting this info! This is great news! I wanted to get the headband to wear during our anniversary trip, but didn't want to pay 30+ dollars. As you can see from the pic below I have the bridal beanie. Even with clips, the beanie did not stay on very well due to my fine hair. DH and I hardly ever wore our hats during our Disneymoon because we didn't want them to get ruined. That is my one and only regret. I think the headband is much cuter and I'm hoping it will stay on me better than the beanie. Can't wait to wear it! Thanks again!

Hello fellow Disneymooners,

I have only 10 more weeks from today and can hardly wait. BUT I am really confused on what the beanie looks like and the headbands everyone keep talking about.
Scott agreed to wear the mickey groom hat on our Disneymoon and I am so happy he did! I want to get as much attention as possiblr. I waited for this for 10 years.
So, any clarification you can give me would be greatly appreciated

Headband - EASY to take off for rides just roll the veil around it and it is VERY easy to deal with:
Also as you can see DH's hat didn't fit but we got 2x the attention with it rather than his just married baseball cap:

OMG yes we had lunch there on 5/2 around that time - not sure 1130 - but definitely by 12 - but we might have been there then- we had a table by the water for two.

Yep! We sat right 'behind' you, also along the water, so it was more of an angle so we were really off to your right, does that make sense? Gosh I can't believe we saw you while you were on your honeymoon! Congratulations!!! You two make a beautiful couple!!!

P.S.- What was that beverage you two had? It looked really yummie!

That is too funny - I wore a lime green shirt one day and didn't meet ANY dis'ers but go to a restaurant and meet people!

We had a pitcher of Sangria. We get it whenever we go there - it is the best and the pitcher is only like $15 where if each have 1-2 glasses it cost MORE than the pitchers - Funny thing is that we are not big drinkers but this is just something special we do there
