Just back...big THANK YOU!!

We just got back from our first family trip to DL and wanted to shout a big "THANK YOU!" to all of you for the excellent advice I got from this group. We had a fantastic time and I will post a full trip report after I get unpacked and my home a little bit more organized.

On the way home my husband told me that I had "created Disney monsters". I thought he was referring to my kids, but then he went on to tell me *he* wants to go back next year for our 10 year anniversary! Looks like I will soon begin planning another trip!!!

He has been bitten by the bug. It is the Disney snowball effect, where one nice little trip happens, and then it turns into another trip and yet another and another... We have had threads about it here before - about what it is that takes hold of us so that as soon as we finish one trip, we start planning another. Something takes hold of us all when we step foot onto Main Street. It is literally like Disney puts something magical in the air and we all breathe it in and become addicted. We have to see everything, buy everything, stay at every Disney hotel, eat everything, do everything, pose for every possible picture with every possible character, wear silly hats... and then plan 5 more trips within the next year!

Anyway, glad to hear your family had a great time!

Yeah! Glad you fun! What started out for us as quick trip to DLR turned into needing a hotel, APs, an extra day, and several more return trips this year. I do consider myself an expert at making Disney snowballs!
