Got back late last night from a great stay. The weather was pretty cold but we were prepared. On to the resort, we really liked this resort. We would choose the beach club again I think. We lilked the location to Epcot and ESPN club. Never knew it was that close to walk over to the ESPN club from BC. We never got to use SaB. We will use it for sure on our trip in July. We were upgraded to a waterview by simply asking if there was an upgrade available. The buses were very good. Never had to wait more then 10 minutes either going to a park or coming back. I guess it's a timing thing. Any questions out there? The resort didn't seem busy at all. We were able to check in at about 12:30 pm and our room was ready.;)

we're staying at YC in Jan. Where did you eat most meals? We prob will do breakfast in room most days but did you eat a lot at the resort? If yes, was it really expensive? Any recommendations?

We also ate our breakfast in our rooms. As far as on site meals at the BC, we didn't eat at them. We choose instead to do meals at the parks. With Epcot being so close the lunch selections are many. We've done beaches and cream before and love the food and prices. As far as yachtmans steak and cape may, we chose not to go to them mainly for the prices. This summer Hurricane Hannahs will really play into our meals during the middle of the day. With it being to cold to swim, we didn't get to go there this time.

That is so nice that you were upgraded! We just got back this morning from the Polynesian (were there the 18th - 22nd). Wow was it cold!!! Glad you were still able to enjoy yourself.

Same Days, but at the Yacht Club. We ate at the Yachtsman and we thought it was great. We had dinner at Beaches and Crème one night, and it is a great place for a casual meal. On another night we had the "Kitchen Sink"! We didn't finish it, but it was well worth it just for the experience (this is a 'must do' for anyone staying at Y&B, or even Boardwalk).

My kids insisted on doing SAB on one of the not-so-cold days. It was still very cool, but having a three acre pool all to yourself was neat.

The Christmas decorations and character costumes really made a holiday atmosphere, and the carolers in the lobby at night were fantastic.

We are going to be at the GF in a couple of weeks. How cold is cold? Were you able to enjoy the rides, etc in the cold?

For theme park visiting the weather was great, 40's at night and high 60's or low 70's in the daytime. The only drawback was if you're going to stay in the parks past sunset, you needed to carry an extra layer all day. It was just very cool for swimming.

That sounds totally livable. DH did not want to bring a stroller for our youngest, but I talked him into it just to carry the coats, sweatshirts etc!!

Glad you liked your trip!

I was wondering if you still have a map of the resort. (Or if any one has a map of the resort)

We will be at the park in Feb. And we will have a large group, that will be meeting up at the Beach Club for dinner.

I would like to get a copy of the resort map so that I will be able to show every one were we will be meeting up. Some are coming from different hotels. And have never been to WDW.

If some one has a copy that they can e-mail me, please let me know.

Thanks!
Elissa
