Just Back ASsp

Just back from ASsp and loved it!! We stayed in the basketball building. We even had towel animals! I love that Sports is the 1st stop for the buses eventhough all the All Stars share buses. Never had to wait too long for anything. Had a great bus driver one night from DTD. Wish I had gotten his name but he entertained the entire way back. It was about midnight and you know everyone was tired but he told jokes, asked Disney trivia, and sang songs. It made the trip seem a lot shorter than it was. Great trip!!

We booked ASsp very hesitantly and we are very glad that a lot of people have many good things to say.

We were hesitant because we have stayed at Caribbean Beach and POP in the past. We definitely wanted POP again but it was all booked up (No discount Dreammaker packages left)!

I think you will really like ASsp. I have also stayed at CB and Pop and would choose ASsp over both. Mainly b/c of how spread out and huge they both are. Have a great trip!!

Thanks for your post. I too booked ASsp and really wanted PoP since we stayed there in Dec.

I was concerned about the buses since they share. We will going the weekend and week before Thanksgiving.

What section would you recomend? I'm looking to be near the bus stops. My mother and father are coming with us. My mom sometimes has hip toruble and a short walk would be nice.

I looked at the map and the football section seems close to the bus stops. Also, how is the food court?


When we stay at PoP in Dec. we had a bus driver like the one you described. Could have been the same man. It was late and the next thing you know he has the entire bus singing Christmas songs.

We stayed at ASsp in the football building in June. It was really close to everything. We never had any problem with the transportation. We had a great time there as well.

The football building would definately be my 1st choice unless you wanted to pay a little more for the preferred Surf's Up building. The football building is a really short walk to the bus stops. The only complaint I had about the food court was that they seemed to be short staffed at peak times and the "fast food" was not so fast. I don't really know what's up with that. The quality and variety of the food was fine though.

We just got back also, we were also in the basketball section. We always stay at ASsp. One night we were leaving the HDDR and had a great bus driver. He had the whole bus laughing. My niece was on her cell phone taking to her boyfriend and the bus driver wanted to know his name. So he had the whole bus saying hi to "Tom"! He was great!
