Returned on Saturday from our 7 night trip to the world. Probably the best trip yet. Stayed offsite at the Sheraton Vistana Resort and drove to the parks every day.

did you visit the characters in Epcot? i think i read that they're now in/near innoventions instead of on the bus. how many characters were in there? how was the line set up - was it like the Rooms in Toontown? thanks.

Leaving Saturday for a one week stay...How was the crowds...weather...lines...any tips?

Did you go to MVMCP and if so, any tips?
Also, could you give a "clothes" report for the weather....like how many layers did you start off with in the morn and especially at night after the sun went down...we leave this weekend and I don't know how many different types of shirts/sweatshirts to bring!! Thanks!

I can answer the characters in Epcot question. It is now across from Innoventions where they usually use for special events like the food and wine festival. It's a room set up and when we were there we saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip and Dale and the cat from Pinnochio. It was amazingly quiet in there as Epcot was packed. We walked right in and walked right up to Mickey. I'm gonna miss the Character Bus though :-(

Characters In Epcot - The only characters we saw were in the World Showcase; Alladin, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Beast. There were also Santas from every country that told stories and hung around for photos. We were in Innovations a couple of times but didn't see any characters.

Crowds - Fairly light to moderate all week except Friday at Epcot (busy). Best tip is to get there as early as possible, ride the popular rides, and spend the rest of the day on the less popular attractions. FastPass is great for rides like Test Track and Soarin' in Epcot, where wait times were usually 50 minutes + by noon.

Weather- Sunday and Monday were almost hot (low 80's). It rained in the morning on Tuesday but cleared up in the early afternoon. A cold front came through on Wednesday, and it was pretty cold in the mornings and evenings (40s-50s) and only warmed up to the high 60's for the rest of the week. Still it was beautiful, as Wed-Fri it was very sunny but cool.

MVMCP - we went the last 2 years and skipped this time. It always seemed to be more crowded during the party. The parade is nice, but not worth the extra expense IMO.

ToT broke down while we were on it on Monday. They turned all the lights on and we had to take a regular elevator back down to the loading area. We went back on Thursday afternoon and lines were backing up. They were only using 2 of the 4 elevators due to technical problems.

We just came home Saturday also. We had a wonderful trip. I thought the crowds were great for the most part. Epcot was crowded on Monday 11/28. I noticed more crowds in MGM and MK on Friday, but I think a lot of them were groups there to perform in the parade, which was being taped that weekend.

We went to MVMCP on Tuesday, 11/29. We had a FANTASTIC time. The holiday wishes was amazing. My advice would be to go on an early weeknight.

If you rode Splash Mountain did you notice if all of the effects were up and working. Over the past ferw trips I've noticed that Brer Rabbit doesn't jump out anymore before the laughing place and that the water in the ;aughing place is not jumping over your head like it used to...there was also a big tear in the sky background in the final riverboat scene. Not sure how much you were observing but if you could give an update that would be great
