We did book our meals in advance but didn't receive them. No appology from Airtours staff just that they didn't have our order and with a 3yr old and a 5yr old both very particular about their food I would recommend take some snacks with you just in case.
Also, couldn't eat nuts on either flight as their was a child on board the aircraft with a nut allergy(something to bear in mind).
Films on outbound flight included Piglet the movie and 3 others with several channels of TV favorites. Inbound films were Jungle book 2, How to lose a man in Ten days, A Jackie Chan film and something else. Good entertainment and the camera views looking straight down when over the cost of USA are very good.
There was quite alot of ground excavation at the hotel but mostly away from view from the pools etc. Could not hear anything from room but did have to move rooms due to damp in the first room.
Also, did join the Wyndham ByRequest program but didn't receive the prebooked items and after 2 phone calls I gave up.
Didn't spend much time at all at the resort just there to sleep really but was set in beautiful grounds and would go back there again.
The weather was good. Only had 2 days without any rain but was hot(90's) and sunny every day till approx 4pm then a good hour of rain then the sun came out again. We planned most of our meals between 4pm and 6 anyway so didnt really bother us. You will definately need rain jackets or poncho's etc.
Driving in the US is very easy. Long straight wide roads and automatic cars with cruise control make driving enjoyable.
Couldn't get on mission space as every day the fast passes had ran out and didn't want to wait in line for 90minutes. The people we spoke to said is was fantastic. Left the ride till next year when the fuss has calmed down.
