DD and I are just back from 4 days at DL and DCA, staying at DGC, Fanasmic Dining, WOC dining, 4 day park hoppers. Used Fast Passes, rode favs multiple times and dined at BB, Carnation Cafe, Cafe New Orleans, Jolly Holly, Napa Rose Chef's Table, Carthay Circle, and Flo's Breakfast. If I can answer any questions I'm more than happy to as I got so many good tips from this board for our trip. So much pixie dust this trip for us, we had a magical time.

Sounds like a whirlwind blast!!! I'm really struggling with WOC dining. Thoughts? Sounds like time commitment for a good spot is the same with a FP or dining...

Dining seating is more in the exact center with FP off to each side. We enjoy the break with dining and a chance to recharge. We showed up 5 minutes before show and got a great view.

What's the castle like now? Are they finished with the Diamond stuff? Is it fully visible and uncovered? We are there in 2 week, just before the 60th starts. I will be pretty disappointed if the castle is covered.

As for the Fantasmic viewing package, did you do BB lunch or dinner and how was your experience with the food there? Thanks in advance! All the dining areas are seated. We were at BB and got the cushions to sit on which was nice. Right next to us were others who dined at other places. Entry is across from Haunted Mansion. The view was great.

The WOC menu was pre-set. We got a choice of: one of two starters; one of eight entrees; and one of three desserts along with bread. View is right in the center about halfway back so you don't get wet. We arrived about 5 minutes before start of show and got a great place. The food was the best we had except for Napa Rose of course. We did the BB dinner and were disappointed with the food considering the price. But we are WDW vets and base our rating on dining there. However, the view was great for that FP seating and you get to sit down which is nice after a long day.

Highly recommend Cafe New Orleans and the Monte Cristo sandwich. Just order one and split it. It was delicious!

Castle was not covered at all. Have some Diamond stuff up but I hope they aren't done as I think they can do better.

We are planing the MC and sharing two with three ppl. My hubby thinks one wont be enough. We were planing cafe Orleans instead BB but we did math and it didn't seem like more then 15 bucks and we could do BB. (The BB would be for my bday meal so we are thinking that is a good reason to do it and just share the MC's. and get deserts

When you saw Fantasmic w/your BB package, how far in advance did you go to NOS to get to the BB viewing area? We've never seen Fantasmic! before and we, too, will be doing the BB in June when we're at DL. Thanks in advance for the info!

Depending on which show you are attending (late or early) you are given a fast pass ticket for a cerain time to enter the dining FP area for each of your party. After the regular FP people are already seated. About 15 minutes before the show and there was plenty of seating. Right in the middle in front of the stage on Tom Sawyer island.
