We ate at Le Celler, Teppaninyakee(?), Boma (x2), Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Ohana (x2) dinner and breakfast. and others!!!!

La Celler was good, but the service was not great. I thing the best part of the meal was the kids desert. Dont get me wrong the filet was good but nothing out of the ordinary.. There was very little pixy dust in the restaurant.

Hi,
Myself and dd are going late Sept and I'm considering whether to go w/ a dining plan? If I decide, ie. to pay out of pocket for one of dd's meal (dinner) which I'm only assuming should be maybe btwn $5-$7 (depending of course on which restaurant), would I be able to allocate her full service dinner meal and use it for myself for dinner at a restaurant that is a 2 table service deduction?

How does dining plan work anyway? Is there some card that you present to the waiter/watiress? Do you tell them at that point how many full-service meal(s) to deduct?

Also, where can I find listing of restaurants that is noted as a two table service meal?

Many thanks

Yes you can pay for any meal and then save the unused credits for a 2 credit meal. The credits are pooled into one grouping for sit down, or counter services rests... You can use them as you please... It also depends on your server and how picky they want to be.

If you have small children, did they like the food at Boma??

We are headed down next week and we didnt make any ADR's for Boma, actually didnt put it on our list, should we? My children are 1 1/2 & 5.

THanks

What child's dessert are you talking about? We're headed there in March and I'll make sure to suggest it to my boys.

I LOVED the food at Boma. I took my 4 kids and they liked it because they had Mac & Cheese and Chicken fingers. Actually my older kids ate the prime rib! My point is, they have kid friendly food nearly everywhere -- go eat where YOU want!
