:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: Well I just walked in the door, I'm feeling kinda depressed. But we will be going back in 6 wks.. Plus the kids start back to school on Wed. so I'm sure the time will fly. Any way, we had a wonderful time the weather was hot but not unberable. We even braved "ERNESTO" on Wed. night and it really didn't seem much more than a rainy day, defiently was not as bad as they made it out to be. But I guess better safe than sorry right. Are stay at CSR was great, we really enjoyed the food court. The parks really were not that bad. We did learn that it is a HUGE mistake to go to the parks with EMH, because they are swamped...Beware if you do go to wait in long lines. I will write more and will be posting lots of great pic's in the next couple day's and any questions I will try to answer as best I can. But now it's off to get some much needed rest. Good night all.

Glad you had a good trip! Be sure to fill us in about where you ate. Get some rest. Welcome home. Where are you staying when you go back?

Welcome back......6 weeks will fly by (if it were me, I'd just stay packed!!! Unpacking's the depressing thing!! :laundy: )

We also just got back. Were supposed to leave on Wednesday (8/30), but Ernesto freaked out Southwest so bad that they cancelled ALL FLIGHTS to/from Orlando for the day!! Of course we didn't think to call, because the weather didn't look that bad and the weather channel said MCO was operating normally (yeah, all the other NORMAL airlines), so we didn't discover this until we arrived at the airport and saw the sign with the 800 number. Yeah - Southwest also was too chicken to have actual reps manning the gates. But hey, no big deal - called and rebooked (earliest flight we could get was Friday), called the Wilderness Lodge and got another roon for two nights, got a new rental car. Once back at the WL, we extended our 6 day hoppers to 8 days for only $2/person/day. How bad was that :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc !!!

Crowds at WDW on Wednesday 8/30 were super light. We were offered re-rides on Splash Mountain in the morning (this was before we went to the airport) and Buzz in the evening (we got off after three trips around). Spectro Magic was cancelled due to rain, but the fireworks went off. Armored with ponchos, we watched from a few feet back of the Walt statue and NO ONE WAS NEARBY! AMAZING!

Even my husband, not a Disney type of guy (he's one of those who calls WDW "the Rat"), was converted this trip. I highly recommend going when there is a tropical storm that the Weather Channel hypes endlessly. which later degrades to a tropical depression which pretty much misses the area entirely. :rotfl2:
