Just back and wondering why CMs grouchy

Just got back from 11 days and enjoyed the trip overall, but found that each evening, all of us adults wondered about the "magic" of Disney missing from the CMs. I realize it's hot (but hey, it's only May, will get worse) but some of these people were down right rude with comments or shoves (yes, I had a CM shove me out of the way on an uncrowded walkway). My favorite, of course, was watching a nice fighting match b/w 3 of the parking lot attendants at MGM as we were pulling into our space. I don't know what it was about, but all 3 were yelling so loud we heard them through closed windows and no traffic moved anywhere while they had it out. There were some CMs that smiled and were nice, but the impression that will stay with us is all the ones that weren't!

Thank goodness it's not just me that noticed this about the CM's.

I wrote guest relations a letter about this and all the problems we had at AKL and they called yesterday. Unfortunately, I was out for the day but they said they would call back.

Thanks Elaine for verifying I'm not crazy. I wanted to write a letter to Disney as well about it (especially the shove and the fighting match that ruined 2 out of 5 in park days). Let me know what you hear from them.

I'm appalled at some of the behavior I've been reading about, especially the monorail nazi!

You know I think in general people are getting ruder. I think everyone needs to take a big chill pill. Life is too short . I really have no problem in telling people that they need to slow down and relax. Some people don't realize how they sound until someone points it out. Lets hope there will be a turn around.
