Just Back and WE GOT UPGRADED TO CR TOWER

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to thank everyone who helped with advice for our Magical Christmas trip this year. We are just back and had a very magical time. It started with us arriving at CR. Our TTC driver was wonderful!!! The lady who checked us in sprinkled us with pixie dust!!! We were supposed to stay in the north wing garden view. After she swiped my Visa she looked at me and my daughter and said uh, just a minute. She proceeded to walk away and talk with a gentleman and he said there's nothing I can do you have to find a manager and she proceeded to go into the back room. At this point I was very concerned that there was a problem with my visa. She came back out with a big smile and said that our room wasn't ready yet but to come back that we'd be staying in the tower with them. I said are you sure because that wasn't what I had made the ressie for. She said yes and she asked my daughter, "I assume you'd like a view of the castle?". My dd said YES, YES. Then my dd looked at me and said mom can we afford this. The sweet lady leaned over and whispered to her-"It's a present from Tinkerbell." Isn't that the sweetest! Our room was on the 8th floor and WOW what a view!!!! We loved being at the CR especially in the tower!!!!

Wow, that's great! Especially at Christmas time. We reserved a CR north garden room for March. I wonder if my young prince would impress the CM as much as your daughter.

WDW~WHERE MAGIC LIVES!! Thank you for your post, it is uplifting and heartwarming. ^_^ I hope you enjoyed the CR as much as we have. The view of the Castle, and all the sounds make it a truly memorable experience. Hope your DD had a MAGICAL time, compliments of TINK! These are the treasured memories which last a lifetime....absolutely PRICELESS!!

Wow!! Lucky you! What an awesome surprise. Do you know what the issue was??? How did you wind up getting upgraded?? I wonder if there were just no more garden rooms available or what?? I am just always wondering how these things happen to people - and not me. I always book the expensive room because I am never that lucky!!
