Just back and the one major thing I learned....

LOL what a timely thread, this afternoon I came across a family group of at least 20 congregating in the middle of the walkway in Epcot. It created a real traffic jam and they were all oblivious or just didn't care that they were blocking hundreds of people from passing by efficiently.

I also came across this at the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. I have no problems with groups of walkers, as I walk myself mid-way, but if you're 2+ abreast please do so all the way over to the side (and not in the middle of the route) or don't be angry if I run into you at approx 6.5 mph if you come to a dead stop in front of me, I don't have ABS brakes! :lmao:

When walking from the bus stop towards the turnstile at Epcot some lady stopped right in the middle of the sidewalk and bent over to mess with her shoelaces causing my fiance to walk right into her and nearly fall over top of her. :scared1:
We're pretty laid back people so I chuckled a little bit as did my fiance but the lady gave him the most disgusted look even after he apologized profusely. We just walked away quietly laughing to ourselves but I couldn't help but feel a little irratated with the ladies reaction.. like my fiance purposely tried to get a piggyback ride from this lady or something.

lol, how dare people stop to admire the scenery. im sorry i just dont get it, should people put their hands up and shout out im stopping? i never have problems with people stopping but then i dont get into other peoples space.

Also here in the UK we dont walk on a certain side.........but for some reason when in WDW i always walk on the right.

This situation needs your traveling in/with a big group to overcome. Like having brother in law (BIL) with you.

I'll use a metaphor instead of the actual step by step instructions.

Ca. 1980 there was a short lived TV series called California Fever. In one scene two guys were drag racing on a 2 lane road. From around the bend up ahead a tractor trailer came the other way. Rather than get over to his right the truck went for the middle of the road. Ergo the drag racers' best choices respectively were to go to the sides (OT) and crashed on the irregular road shoulders.

For this second situation (extended family not mandatory for this one) I'll also give you the metaphor and you use imagination to come up with the Disney park situation. Someone coming out of the corner gas station cuts you off. You wanted to turn right anyway so you evade the miscreant by driving into the gas station -- and continue through and out the other exit.
