Just got back from the Wonderful World of Disney. Here's my opinions:
The Crowd level wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be(Sorry, Len. I was freaking out about the 8-9 level crowds). Crowds were about 4, perhaps 5. We had no trouble riding the headliner or getting fastpasses. I think it will be the same for those going before the Memorial Day rush.
Late EMH- We went to Epcot on their late EMH. That was the only day we noticed increased crowd level. We only stayed for the first late hour-cause the waits for Test Track as 90 min and Soarin was 90+min. We ended up going to Epcot the following day/night and noticed the crowds were a lot Less! I suspect the rule about EMH (avoiding that park to avoid the crowd) may really come into play for the Late EMH's.
We LOVED the celebration decorations. My hubby and I really like Castle all decked out!
New Attractions:
Soarin'- Is Awesome!!!!!!! Great ride that all may do. (Only small toddlers/babies and people that really have a major fear of heights can't ride.)
That's the problem. IT's a great ride that ALL can do. So the waits are bad. It's the only ride we saw that had a 2 hour wait. Hit first and early and then fastpass. Don't MISS it!
Lights, Motor, Action!- is AWESOME!!! I love car, and explosions.. So, it wasn't a stretch that I would like it. I do think most people will enjoy it. It's cool to see how they do those cool car chases in the movies. Hint: Fastpass it! It guarantees you a seat-a good one in the middle under the awning. Try to see the first show. I think the later ones may get the sun right in their eyes.
Cinderellabration- was okay. All it is a mini-show with Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White. I wasn't all that impressed. If you have a Princess fan in your group, do it.
Lucky, the Dinosaur- is Cool. (I liked him/her better than Cinderellabration). Only disappointed cause you can't touch or take a picture with him/her.
Stitch's Great Escape- is a major disappointment. I love Stitch. My family (hubby and daughter) were also very disappointed. It's alot of noise and nasty smells but it wasn't anything special. We all like Tiki Room better.

Thanks Robin for the info. Sounds like you had a good time. I have a just a few questions. How was the weather. I am worried about it not being warm enough. And about Soarin, can my ds3 do it?

We have not been since 96 and are so looking forward to it. It was just dh and myself last time, so we can't wait to see it thru our little man's eyes!!!

Whats the Lucky thing about? Have not seen anything on that?

thanks again

[i cant wait until our vacation[br]

Thanks for the info. I am debating forcing my mother to go on Soarin. She still won't forgive me for Space Mountain. Do you think she'll be ok if she needs to close her eyes? :bounce:

Not being warm enough for what?? It's May in Orlando...you can't toast a marshmellow on the heat radiating from the sidewalks...other than that, it's warm enough for anything!! :rotfl2:

I am not a trill ride person and I LOVE THIS RIDE!!!! I hate to fly. Won't stand on a chair to change a light bulb, but I would wait 2 hours for this ride! You mother will love it. If all else fails, she can close her eyes, but she will not want to. We rode it 15 times at DL last year. I am so glad I get to ride it again in three weeks!
